by Cristina Laila May. 12, 2024 5:40 pm

According to a newly unsealed defense motion related to search warrants against Walt Nauta, a lawyer with an attorney-client privilege relationship with President Trump proposed to act as an undercover informant in Special Counsel Jack Smith’s classified documents case.

Recall that Walt Nauta, a former White House employee and Navy veteran who worked valet for Trump and served as a personal staffer at Mar-a-Lago was indicted along with Trump last year.

According to the motion filed earlier this month, a lawyer for Trump was enlisted to act as an undercover informant/source in Jack Smith’s classified documents case.

“The affiants hid information about [redacted] who were acting as political enemies of President Trump, including one attorney who had an attorney-client privilege relationship with President Trump and then proposed to act in an undercover parallel role to [redacted].

Climate Professor Thinks We Should 'Cull' the Human Population to Reach Emissions Targets
Rick Moran
~2 minutes

Professor Bill McGuire is a well-known vulcanologist and climate scientist who doesn't care much for humanity. He tweeted out a scathingly brilliant idea if you're in the mortuary business or work as a grave digger.

"If I am brutally honest, the only realistic way I see emissions falling as fast as they need to, to avoid catastrophic #climate breakdown, is the culling of the human population by a pandemic with a very high fatality rate." https://t.co/hzga69EhV3

Ooopsie. McGuire deleted the tweet a few hours later but had no regrets. The trouble is, we just don't understand how brilliant he is.

Really? Many would beg to differ.

Even his peers were aghast at his suggestion.

"Eco-fascism," indeed.

Naturally, the professor's arrogant, elitist snobbery brought out the best in the Twitterverse.

Didn't mean to single you out. You're certainly not the first person/member to use the term "anti-Semite" around here.

Was simply pointing out what precipitated the insulting response. It's tiresome.  IMO, a bridge too far.

It's not like @Right_in_Virginia changed her avatar to the Palestinian Flag.  /S

Could have posted a picture of a blueberry pie, but we're only on the 2nd page.

@DCPatriot

No problem. Different people have different limits. I had reached mine.

Cohen testifies about relationship with David Pecker

Michael Cohen said he knew ex-National Inquirer publisher David Pecker before he knew Donald Trump, but it wasn't until he started working for Trump that he spoke with Pecker, often by phone, email or Signal, an encrypted messaging app.

Cohen said he met Pecker at a function on Long Island before he became "reacquainted" with him under Trump.

He said they would use Signal to communicate "depending on the matter" and how those conversations not being "traceable would be beneficial."

"Depending upon the matter. Sometimes we thought that encryption and not having the event traceable would be beneficial," Cohen said.

Cohen admits lying and bullying for Trump to make his boss 'happy'

After describing most of his time working for Trump as "an amazing experience," Cohen was then asked whether he lied on Trump's behalf.

"I did," Cohen replied.

"It was what was needed in order to accomplish a task," he added.

"Did you bully people for him?" Hoffinger continued.

Cohen said that he did.

"The only thing that was on my mind was to accomplish tasks to make him happy," he testified.

One Look at Biden's Top Advisor Explains His Support for Hamas
Katie Pavlich
2–3 minutes

After protecting thousands of Hamas terrorists in the southern Gaza City of Rafah last week and kneecapping Israeli's ability to win the war against the Iranian backed group, it's becoming clear who is driving President Joe Biden's betrayal of Israel and rewarding those who carried out the horrific October 7 attacks.

National Security Council Coordinator for Intelligence and Defense Policy and Deputy Assistant to the President Maher Bitar is driving this policy.

In college, Bitar was an active participant in Students for Justice in Palestine at Georgetown University.

"When Deputy National Security Advisor Maher Bitar was at Georgetown, he was on the board of Students for Justice in Palestine — the organization now calling for the elimination of Israel by violent revolution. Personnel is policy, as they say, and Biden/Blinken/Sullivan’s policy is understandably awful and frightening," former U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman revealed on X.

Trump's eyes closed as Cohen testifies about working together
By Kyle Schnitzer

Donald Trump has been slouched back in his seat with his eyes closed, sitting between attorneys Todd Blanche and Emil Bove, during Michael Cohen's testimony.

Cohen is testifying about his working relationship with Trump, saying that when Trump tasked him with something, Trump would say, "Keep me informed, let me know what's going on."
