Michael Cohen wants more time, offers Democrats more information

Michael Cohen, a former longtime lawyer to President Trump, is offering new information to Democrats in an effort to delay his prison sentence.
Cohen, who is set to begin his three-year prison sentence May 6, said through his attorney Lanny Davis on Thursday that he “recently obtained†a hard drive with 14 million files from his computers and phones from the past 10 years, "which we believe has significant value to the various congressional oversight and investigation committees.â€
“For him to surrender in 30 days would be a detriment to [sic] committees search for truth, as well as a miscarriage of justice,†a statement from Davis said.
Cohen’s attorneys sent a letter to members of the House Oversight and Intelligence committees informing them of the discovery. The letter, according to CNN, said the hard drive contains emails, voice recordings, images, and attachments from Cohen’s devices.

He’s hoping the judge will give him another delay to report, since he has ‘evidence and testimony.’ Really odd how it shows up as the day draws nigh.
