How about cars? Well, he has said he owns a Lexis hybrid SUV and a Fisker, mostly, he is riding in a limo... one he gets in trouble or for leaving idling for hours.

He is doing what all Leftists do. He is simply lying. He is setting his original home up as a model home for his GW scam, while at the same time living like a playboy movie star in California.
Al Gore's success is a graphic statement on the stupidity of the American public, and how easily they are duped. Europe is into GW, but they are doing it to push global socialism. Russia, Asia, and South America just laugh at the Global Warming frenzy. And why not? It is making them stinking rich by shackling American industry while leaving them free to produce at will. Also, crazy EPA restrictions free up resources for the rest of the world.
No wonder Al Gore is a hero to them.

To be fair, that isn't as much as it sounds and not as a big deal as he makes it out to be.. With a geothermal system, a lot of wells are drilled deep with pipes run in them to circulate air from at least 8 feet underground to help keep the temperature consistent. Here is a typical home set-up. Note that would be a 32 well setup for each one drilled.

Or the fact they simply don't know about any of this because the "leading" American press buries the story? How many of us knew the guy was such a liar and such an energy hog? I didn't until I read this thread. I suspected it but didn't know the extent of his duplicity until now.

We have a geothermal heating and cooling system for our house, but it still requires an electric pump - and that darn electricity is generated at a plant across the river that uses that evil coal! Gee, if only we had photovoltaic panels on the roof (at an additional cost of $50,000) to generate the electric pump to make the geothermal system work!
