Florida surpasses New York in total COVID-19 cases
Florida has surpassed New York in total statewide COVID-19 cases after reporting more than 414,000 cases Saturday morning.
The Florida Department of Health is reporting a total of 414,511 cases. The New York State Department of Health is reporting 411,200 and California is reporting 445,400 as of Saturday.
Florida now has the second-highest number of coronavirus cases in the country.
The Florida Department of Health reported 12,199 new coronavirus cases in the state as of Saturday as well as 126 new deaths.
Southwest Florida added 550 new coronavirus cases bringing the total to 27,720, according to the Florida Department of Health..............
