Surprise: Schumer doesn’t want to make a deal with the GOP to end child separation

I asked a question. And now we have an answer.
Schumer has a tasty midterm issue on a silver platter thanks to Trump. Multiple polls show upwards of 65-70 percent of the public oppose child separation. Option one for Dems: Make a deal with the GOP to end the policy immediately with limited concessions on both sides. Republicans agree to pay for twice as many immigration judges as we have now, per Cruz’s bill, in order to move asylum applications more expeditiously. And Democrats agree that families stay in detention together instead of being let go and disappearing into the United States, never to return to court for their hearing, the hallmark of “catch and release.â€

The problem is Schmucky Chucky is setting himself up for a big fall. It's already known that the problem goes back before Trump despite the media attempting to paint it otherwise.
Yet, the GOP is still trying to present a fix for it. If successful, and likely even if not, it's going to leave Chucky hanging as the obstructionist going into the mid-terms.
So filibuster that bill Schmuck boy, I dare ya.

This is just a political football indeed, once again, the Democrats' bluff is called.
