It's time for us to GET OUT of Europe, and leave it to the Europeans to figure out.

Elections 2024 / Maryland Senate Race (Poll Data)
« Last post by catfish1957 on Today at 09:41:15 pm »
Been kind of under the radar for news, but the control of the Senate looks razor close.

Parsing through RCP this morning, I ran across some bizarre poll results in Maryland in the Maryland Senate Race.  Reason I am curious, is that the entire control of the Senate might rest on this race.

Look at these numbers, based on the last two listed at RCP.......

Baltimore Sun- April 7th- 10th........ has Hogan up +18
The (S)Hill May 6th- 8th................. has Alsobrooks up +10

28 pt swing in a month?  Doubtful of course ,but is there anyone up that vicinity  that has  any idea what's going on?

"Interest payments on the nation’s ballooning debt just eclipsed spending on defense and Medicare, worrying policy experts who have warned this threatens to undermine U.S. economic stability."

It is what it is.

I've become "a creditor" insofar as the Treasury is concerned.
Every Tuesday, there's a t-bill that matures and one more payment from the Treasury into my bank account (for that purpose).

Keep those interest rates where they are!
Works for me.

He looks and sounds enough like early 1960s JFK and his dad RFK to trigger the nostalgia vote of the good ol' pre-Vietnam days.

I mean, it was a trial. Anyone who partakes in a scientific trial like this assumes the risk.

And, I will note, as PeteS alluded to... the trial ultimately was unsuccessful, and though AZ sold it outside the United States, it was never authorized here, not even for emergency use.

The reason AZ did not submit its clinical trials data to the FDA in an application for Emergency Use Authorization is that in the trials in Brazil the dosing for one of the two shots was incorrect, basically making the data from Brazil useless. By the time this was discovered, Pfizer and Moderna were about to receive their authorizations and AZ decided that being late to the US market would go poorly. The UK and EuroLand, apparently, were satisfied with the data AZ had (they did trials in the US, UK, and South Africa, that I remember). In following news about vaccines, treatments, and related stuff (e.g. PPE) my focus was the US because I live here and my personal bandwidth isn't infinite.

Just more dishonest euphemisms for surrendering to Putin.

Quote
Inviting Russia to join in these celebrations would be a grandstand showing that at least some of the sacred values of Western civilization are still alive.

This is just plain stupid because Putin is just as bad as both Hitler and Stalin, and never negotiates anything in good faith.

Question:
“What happens when Border Patrol encounters someone who has crossed the border illegally?”

Answer:
It doesn't matter.

Regardless of what happens to them, they're "in".
That's all that counts.

What "course" does Edward Lozansky suggest that does not mean Ukraine continuing to fight or surrendering to Russian invaders? He's on "American Thinker" so I doubt he's thought that far.
