Trump blasts own party, calls filibuster 'GOP death wish'

President Trump is blasting Republicans again on Twitter just days after he shocked his own party by agreeing with Democrats on a fiscal deal to the disbelief of the GOP.
Trump called the filibuster a "Repub Death Wish," saying the party would never get anything done under the rule. He also ripped Republicans for promising to deliver ObamaCare repeal for seven years and then failing to do it.

Republicans, sorry, but I've been hearing about Repeal & Replace for 7 years, didn't happen! Even worse, the Senate Filibuster Rule will....

Anybody ever remember another Pubbie president preferring the opposition over members of his own party? Me neither. It's one thing to be unhappy with your party leaders over some issue. It's quite another to throw over to the opposition like Trump is doing out of spite.

It's not 'out of spite', it's deliberately calculated. Trump saw the deal and instinctually took it, killing two birds with one deal. He puts Republicans in congress on notice and forces McConnell's hand on fixing the budget, plus he fast tracked Harvey relief. I like it.

It's Trump vrs Special Interests. The Rats are owned by government workers, blacks and other SJW. The GOP is owned by Wall Street and the globalists. Only Trump (and a few good Congressmen) represents the American people. Getting things done under these circumstances will be difficult. The failure to repeal OCare shows just how difficult.

The democrat/communists will have no problem discarding the filibuster once they attain power again.

Its time everyone just acknowlege that they've been running a scam on their base all this time.
They like big oppressive government just fine. They'll do nothing to change it.
