Colorado Counties and Sheriffs Sue State over Sanctuary Laws

The State of Colorado last week was served with a lawsuit by two Colorado counties, Douglas and El Paso, and their respective sheriffs, seeking to strike down two state laws for illegally interfering with federal immigration enforcement laws. Darren Weekly is the elected Sheriff of Douglas County, Colorado Joseph Roybal is the elected Sheriff of El Paso County, Colorado.

The first law being challenged is House Bill (H.B.) 19-1124, which was signed into law by Governor Jared Polis in May 2019. This law prohibits Colorado law enforcement officers from honoring ICE detainers. It also prohibits probation employees from providing personal information about individuals to federal immigration authorities.

The second law being challenged is H.B. 23-1100, which became effective in June 2023. That law bans local governments, including county sheriffs, from contracting with the federal government to detain aliens.

I hope one day they realize that they were the face of hatred and that their arrogance and selfishness affected others adversely.

They will probably be the last generation as the woke university is going down! The sad fact is that no one cares about America!

A massive group of illegal aliens stormed into Southern California after men wearing “black face masks” cut through the border barrier this week, according to reports.

The incident unfolded at around 8:00 p.m. on Sunday night in San Diego.

A citizen journalist called Cory Gautereaux filmed the mass incursion and authorized California activist and commentator @BrittRooted to publish it on X.

“At around 2000 today, approximately 150-200 illegal aliens entered the US via a cut border fence,” Gautereaux reportedly said.

A group of climate activists are eyeing their next big protest over the summer.

In a statement to group members and supporters, Climate Defiance is calling for a "historic blockade" of the Congressional Baseball Game, an annual competition where Republican and Democratic members of Congress compete in America’s favorite pastime.

"We - society, humanity - are careening into an abyss. The decisions we make now will reverberate not for centuries, but for millennia. If we do not act now, boldly and swiftly, millions will die from storms and from starvation," Climate Defiance said in an email to supporters.

"So long as Congress torches our planet, we won’t give them a moment of rest. It is unconscionable that they play games while destroying our prospect for a decent future," Climate Defiance founder Michael Greenberg said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "Our entire world faces imminent catastrophe. Congress has the power to save millions – even billions – of lives. The fact that they haven’t already ended fossil fuel subsidies is shameful. We’re shutting down the Congressional Baseball Game to send a message: we will do whatever it takes to force those in power to end fossil fuels."

Can ‘Get Trump’ Beat Failing Bidenomics?

Let us suppose that the best and brightest setting up the Biden regime in 2021 all confidently knew that by the spring of 2024 everything would be copacetic and Bidenomics would prompt a blowout election in 2024 that would consign Trump and Trumpism to the waste heap of history. The inflation would be transitory, the various mega-spending pushes would be nailing down Democrat support, wall-to-wall DEI would have Black support guaranteed for 50 years, the glorious push for NetZero would herald the dawn of a new era led by proud EV-driving virtue-signalers, and as an insurance policy, Donald Trump would be compromised six ways from Sunday by multiple prosecutions featuring Black prosecutors, with a backup from regime heavyweight Jack Smith.

I’d like to suggest that all five strategies are failing.

I’d say that when you gun the M2 money supply by 40 percent in two years, from $15.3 trillion in early 2020 to $21.7 trillion in early 2022, you are starting a prairie fire. Hey, but it was great for a baby-boom retiree like me. My net worth went up 50 percent in the same period. But for the average angry racist White voter it meant two years of shutdown followed by soaring prices and interest rates. I wonder what life has been like for Hispanic roofers and aspiring rappers. Anybody know?
