As bad as things are for the GOP right now, remember that it’s even worse for Democrats.

Case in point, the Cook Political Report just moved 4 2018 Senate races in the GOP’s direction:

The Congressional GOP is just itching to turn the leadership gavel back to the Democrats.

It's so much easier just to follow.

A bit over half the country has apparently set the bar so low for the GOP that in spite of their best efforts to the contrary they can hardly help but win. Contempt for democrats is some strong medicine.

Combine that with a stronger economy, and that is a losing formula for the Democrats.
