Sanctuary State Connecticut: Illegal Alien Freed from Prison After Killing Two Children

by JOHN BINDER 22 May 2024

An illegal alien, convicted of killing two children, was released from prison after serving his sentence by the sanctuary state of Connecticut instead of being turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for deportation.

In November 2013, 40-year-old illegal alien Israel Alejandro Gonzalez-Arcinega of Mexico killed two children — a five-year-old and an eight-year-old, who were siblings — in a drunk driving crash before speeding off in Meriden, Connecticut.

That same month, ICE agents issued a detainer for Gonzalez-Arcinega, requesting custody of him rather than releasing him from police custody.

By April 2014, Gonzalez-Arcinega was convicted on two counts of vehicular manslaughter, three counts of second-degree vehicular assault, one count of illegal operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and one count of evading responsibility for a death or serious injury.

Poll: Likely American Voters Prefer Deporting Illegal Aliens Over Amnesty

by JOHN BINDER 22 May 2024

Most Americans likely to vote in this year’s presidential election say they prefer deporting all illegal aliens from the United States rather than giving them amnesty, a new poll reveals.

The Rasmussen Reports survey found that a majority, 54 percent, of likely U.S. voters said they support a policy to deport all 11 to 22 million illegal aliens — including 36 percent who said they strongly support such a policy.

Working and lower-middle class Americans, those most likely to compete for jobs against illegal aliens, remain highly supportive of deportations. Nearly 60 percent of those likely voters who are not college-educated said they support deporting illegal aliens.

At the same time, those Americans most likely to hire illegal aliens for below-market wages are the most opposed to such a deportation policy. A wide majority, 63 percent, of those earning $200,000 or more a year said they do not support deporting illegal aliens.

The city of Denver is considering purchasing two buildings for $4 million from the Denver Community Church to house its arriving migrants.

“This space for newcomer families is a key piece of Denver's efforts to keep families safely off the streets,” city staff stated in documents.

The purchase and sale agreement were reviewed by the city’s Finance & Governance Committee earlier this week. The final sale would need to be approved by the City Council.

As of May 20, the city of Denver has taken in 41,807 migrants from the southern border at a cost of more than $70 million, according to a city media release. The city is sheltering 622 people through various housing shelters.

Denver Has a New Long Term Welfare Program for Illegal Migrants

By M DOWLING - May 22, 2024

Far-left Denver has a new illegal immigrant program, moving away from short-term shelters to a longer welfare situation. The Colorado Sun explains the program for people coming illegally from all over the world.

It includes six-month apartment stays and intensive job preparation for those who can’t yet legally work.

They are set up with an apartment with six months of rental, food and utility assistance, a free computer, a prepaid cell phone, and metro bus passes.

If that doesn’t work, they will be given long shelter stays, OR THEY’LL GIVE THEM BUS TICKETS TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. They won’t be sent home, just to another city or state.

The illegal aliens will get free courses on the English language, computers, financial literacy, and workers’ rights [of course, make them fully entitled] while also assisting migrants in getting credentialed in specific industries, like construction, retail, hospitality, health care, and early childhood education.

Authorities busted a Chicago ring accused of staging fraudulent robberies to secure immigration benefits, the New York Post reported Wednesday.

Six men allegedly orchestrated armed robberies across Chicago as part of a scheme to qualify their so-called victims for immigration benefits under the U Visa program, according to the New York Post. This visa is designed to aid victims of crimes who cooperate with law enforcement in the investigation or prosecution of criminal activity.

The alleged ringleaders, Parth Nayi, 26, and Kewon Young, 31, were at the helm of this operation, manipulating staged robberies involving local businesses like restaurants, coffee shops, liquor stores and gas stations, the outlet reported. Their accomplices included Bhikhabhai Patel, 51, from Kentucky; Nilesh Patel, 32, from Tennessee; Ravinaben Patel, 23, from Wisconsin; and Rajnikumar Patel, 32, from Florida. These individuals allegedly paid thousands of dollars to be portrayed as victims of these orchestrated crimes.

Why the US?  Send them to Mejico or Cuba, They'll feel more at home.  Why not Antarctica where they have plenty of available land?  Africa would be another good choice.

Half a Million Nicaraguan Migrants Need Political Asylum in the US
Experts warn: The vast majority have not yet applied for asylum, amid an electoral debate that aims to impose more immigration restrictions.

Since the outbreak of the socio-political crisis and massive repression in Nicaragua in 2018, more than half a million Nicaraguan migrants have entered the United States. The vast majority arrived by land at the U.S.-Mexico border, and approximately 60,000 entered by air through the humanitarian parole that allows them to stay in the country for two years.

Most of the migrants are facing an uncertain situation presently because they have not applied for political asylum and have an irregular legal status, amid a highly polarized electoral debate in which Donald Trump and President Joe Biden are competing to impose new restrictive measures on migration.

In an interview in Esta Semana, attorney Astrid Montealegre, an expert on migration issues and advisor to the Nicaraguan American Human Rights Alliance (NAHRA), and researcher Manuel Orozco, an expert on migration and remittances at the Inter-American Dialogue, warned about the seriousness of this situation and recommended that all people with an irregular legal status study their cases of political persecution or religious persecution, and file their asylum applications as soon as possible, a process that is slow and extremely complex.
