Trey Gowdy inside court: Prosecution wraps arguments with highly objectionable illustration
I really like it when prosecutors end on a crescendo - on a high note that marries logic with passion. This one did not end that way. Actually ended as it should have begun - with the perfunctory stuff like presumption of innocence etc. Juries don't know the difference between great closings and not great ones. This is likely their only trial. He ends with a highly objectionable illustration. Prosecutor ends by asking for 34 guilty verdicts for interfering with an election.

And now it all makes sense.  This isn't Joe Biden.  This is Hillary Clinton seeking vindication that she would have been the true winner in 2016 had not Donald Trump cheated.

There is a suspension of reason, custom, and values on BOTH sides.
Those things do not enter into the current conversation at all.

So Rubio would abandon his state, his constituents and voters, and his responsibilities just for a little bit of power?  Reminds me back when he was recruited to head up the original "Gang of 8."  He's a complete phony!

I usually do a Sudoku puzzle every day. I can do the Easy and Medium ones usually in a day... The hard ones can take me two days. *Done while on bathroom breaks only.

@ChemEngrMBA ... pertaining last puzzle... I am gonna guess two... The both men who met going to the town... so two.

McCarthy and Gowdy inside court: Prosecution describing 'additional crime' without evidence

Steinglass is now proving another potential “other crime” — tax fraud.

So it's OK to introduce new charges during closing arguments with zero evidence, but not OK to mention sentencing for the original charges (again with zero evidence)?

As a former president, Donald Trump is entitled to Secret Service protection for his entire life even if he is sentenced to jail.

"Behind bars, corrections officers would in turn be responsible for protecting those agents assigned to Trump," CBS reported.

CBS predicts that Trump could serve time at Rikers Island Jail Complex.

I would love to be one of those Secret Service agents.  Getting to share a jail cell with Trump?  And think of the overtime!  That would be so cool.

Little Marco soon forgets ... I definitely have no problem with the Gang of Eight RINO leaving FL.

And DeSantis gets to appoint an interim senator... A Conservative... Who is sure to win the next time around.

Win-win

Your reaction is completely understandable.

I often wonder just how bad Virginia is, if you are "right" in Virginia.
