Judicial Watch's Tom Fitton: DOJ, FBI Protecting the Clintons

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton Tuesday accused the Justice Department and the FBI of protecting Bill and Hillary Clinton from any serious investigation, and said the DOJ is "looking the other way" when it comes to the Clinton Foundation.
"They're terribly politicized," Fitton, whose watchdog organization has been releasing several Clinton-related emails for more than a year, told Fox News' "Fox & Friends" program. "They want to use the tools of the Justice Department to punish enemies and reward friends."
The conservative movement and tea party groups are seen as enemies, he continued, and Hillary Clinton, as the Democratic nominee, "is seen as a friend and they're going to protect her and subvert the rules to do so."
When it comes to the Clinton Foundation, he continued, "FBI agents were told to stand down" while the Justice Department denied access to emails, subpoenas, witness interviews, and grand juries.
"Right now, there's a cover-up going on within the [President Barack] Obama Justice Department and the FBI about what the Clinton Foundation has been up to in these pay-to-play scams which, have been confirmed essentially by WikiLeaks and we've been exposing for almost a year on Judicial Watch," said Fitton.
Fitton also said the Justice Department of trying to investigate the right-leaning groups targeted in the IRS scandal back in 2010, calling the connection "underreported."
"They were thinking of creative ways to put Obama's opponent in jail," said Fitton. "This is the same Justice Department that is looking the other way on the Clinton Foundation."
