I am convinced it was a lie...they needed something to change all the damage about Joe's cognitive abilities  from the books coming out so they came up with cancer...an idea to stop all the bad press and turn it into sympathy.

He may have had prostate cancer years before and was successfully treated for it...just not now..JMO

Of course it was! They lie about everything. Always have.

Canyon Lake resident here.

This is a mixed bag for us. We were in severe drought conditions when this hit, and all this water will do quite a bit to restore our extremely parched lake.

Like all things Texas, nothing that happens around here is "normal." We go from one extreme to the other. This is something most Texans are accustomed  to, but all these wooses from California in their minivans? Not so much.

I once drove through a low water crossing up near Mason, turned the truck around and headed back only to find the crossing I had just went through under ten feet of water. That's how fast things can happen in that country and you would think people would eventually figure it out.

My heart breaks for all who have lost loved ones!

Rule one in the hill country of Texas should be "When it starts raining here get to higher ground fast!"

I can't tell you how many times things like this have happened already. No disrespect for the dead intended, but you would think people would eventually learn something.

I watched a video this morning showing a family driving their minivan straight into the flooded river. Despite so many warnings over and over telling people not to drive into floodwaters these idiots keep doing it.

Likewise there are endless stories of people getting killed because they stopped their car or truck on railroad tracks. Why they insist on stopping I don't know. But they keep doing it.

Some people never learn. Or they only learn in the last moments of their lives.

Poor Jill. Such a fall from grace. She has gone from being the de facto POTUS to towel folder in chief, all because she lost control of the auto-pen.

Joe couldn't even shake the sand off a towel so Jill had to snatch it away from Joe to do it.   Man what a couple.

Poor Liberals. They are claiming that President Donald Trump and MAGA have RUINED their Fourth of July. How? Well, just listen to the MISINFORMATION they are spreading and you can see why they are now prisoners in their own tiny minds wracked with fantasy fear. Meanwhile the rest of the country CELEBRATED this Fourth of July chock full of a new HOPE and OPTIMISM as hasn't been felt in years.
