It's becoming obvious these kids have been sneaking a cheeseburger or two at night.

Have they figured out yet who's to blame for this?

Like the Chicago mayor did, I’m sure Pittsburgh’s problems will be blamed by right wingers

Such as he and thoroughly woke Milley, I would assume.

World News / Re: WATCH!! Dr. Phil interviews Bibi

No, not a snob, per se @AllThatJazzZ   (And I heard nothing new in the interview.)

But, I do understand the power of perceptions.  Chatting with Dr. Phil at this point in the war, with the recent decision by the US and the vote at the UN, I think Netanyahu looks a little silly.

You don't ---- and that's perfectly okay with me.

@Right_in_Virginia

Hmmmmm...... You have said you believe the 2-state solution would solve the Israeli-Palestinian problem. Now you belittle Netanyahu for his interview with Dr. Phil. Tell me you're antisemitic without telling me you're antisemitic.

I understand what drives antisemitism for leftists. I'm flummoxed when I see it on the right.

:pondering: Did Nadler leave it out on purpose, or was it because he's just stupid ? I don't think Nadler's brain is functioning much better than Bidens

If he was reading the actual amendment, then he deliberately omitted it

Prince Harry ‘in tears’ after King Charles bestows military honor on Prince William: ‘The gloves are off’
By Social Links for Andrew Court
Published May 11, 2024, 12:26 p.m. ET

Prince Harry was reduced to tears after learning King Charles had bestowed a new honor upon Prince William, a royal expert claims.

On Tuesday, Buckingham Palace announced that William, 41, will be made colonel-in-chief of the Army Air Corps – despite Prince Harry, 39, having personally served with the unit in Afghanistan.

The announcement appeared timed to inflict maximum pain on Harry, coming on the same day that he returned to London to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

“King Charles’ announcement… is a real kick in the teeth for the son who always felt marginalized and underrated,” royal expert Tom Quinn told The Mirror on Saturday. “He is said to have been in tears when he heard”.

“What makes it much worse is that the role is being given to the very man who Harry sees as the cause of so many of his problems – his brother.”

Quinn claimed that the announcement was “deliberately” made while Harry was in the UK to show that the king’s younger son “is no longer welcome.”

“They [the royal family] have decided the gloves are off and that Harry needs to realize that when you betray the family, you don’t just escape the things you hated doing as a working royal,” the expert asserted. “You also lose the things you loved.”

“Harry cannot fail to get the message,” Quinn continued. “His last few ties to his old life are being cut and he is being set adrift, permanently.”

Sacramento State acquiesces to anti-Israel protesters, changes university policy

California State University, Sacramento ended disruptive protests on its campus this week by working with students to create new policies on investment ostensibly aimed at Israel.

Protests ended on Wednesday after the school updated its policies to state that the university "directs its auxiliaries [...] to investigate socially responsible investment strategies which include not having direct investments in corporations and funds that profit from genocide, ethnic cleansing, and activities that violate fundamental human rights."

Local representatives of Students for Justice in Palestine celebrated the change as a major victory for their cause, thanking University President Luke Wood for facilitating dialogues since protests began last month.

“Being a part of the student intifada is an honor,” said a SJP organizer speaking at the Wednesday press conference. “No student wants their tuition to ever go toward ethnic cleansing or genocide of anyone. Especially when you are Palestinian, you are forced into a terrible position of being complicit in the genocide of your own people.
