The Texas unemployment rate fell back to its all-time low in Aprilas the state economy continued to create jobs at a solid pace.

Texas employers added 29,000 jobs last month, and more than 280,000 over the year, an annual growth rate of 2.7 percent, the Texas Workforce Commission reported. It was the 108th consecutive month of year-over-year job growth, the agency said.
