Biden Sends Back 27 Cuban Rafters amid Deadly Communist Oppression

The U.S. Coast Guard announced the return of 27 Cuban refugees to the communist country on Tuesday, caught attempting to navigate to Florida on two separate vessels.
The slightly over two dozen people are believed to be the first large group of balseros, or rafters, caught attempting to enter the United States in this manner since the July 11 protests. On that day, thousands of Cubans marched in the streets of dozens of municipalities nationwide and every major city on the island, demanding an end to 62 years of communist rule. The protests triggered a wave of state-sponsored violence including public beatings, police opening fire on unarmed civilians, and the imprisonment and threatening of minors.
The Coast Guard did not provide the identity of those repatriated, but Cubans with known anti-communist sentiments can face legal repercussions for attempting to leave the country without Communist Party permission. Cubans with higher education, especially doctors trapped in the nation’s healthcare slavery system, may also face severe criminal liability if returned home. . . .

It is unconscionable that this coup is opening the door wide for immigrants coming in to game the system. Yet some real political refugees trying to escape tyranny, they take them prisoner and turn them over to a totalitarian state that will put them in prison for daring to leave.

It is bizarre. Must be some kind of secret agreement between Biden's puppeteers and the Cuban government.
If they had managed to make it to Mexico somehow, Biden's people would have escorted them across the border, given them money, housing, medical care, and anything else they need. The difference in how they are treated is incomprehensible.

This makes perfect sense. The immigrants coming from Mexico are democratic voters. The ones from Cuba are republicans.

Despite allowing tens of thousands of job-hungry illegal aliens to stream across the southern U.S. border, the Biden administration is steadfastly refusing to offer even an iota of compassion to Cuban refugees fleeing communist oppression.
Case in point: On Tuesday, the U.S. Coast Guard “repatriated 27 Cubans to Cuba” after it found them desperately fleeing the communist nation aboard two separate vessels.
“In the first interdiction, a good Samaritan reported a 21-foot vessel with 22 people aboard, approximately 7 miles south of Key West to Coast Guard Sector Key West watchstanders at approximately 3:45 p.m. Friday. They were brought aboard Coast Guard Cutter William Trump and transferred to the Charles Sexton and reported in good health,” the federal agency reported in a press release.
“In the second interdiction, Coast Guard Station Islamorada reported a makeshift raft with five people aboard, approximately 15 miles offshore of Islamorada to Sector Key West watchstanders at approximately 4 p.m. Saturday. A Station Islamorada boat crew picked up the five people and transferred them to the Charles Sexton. They were reported in good health,” the agency added.

I agree. ESPECIALLY when there is a revolution going on to free Cuba of Communism. For all we know,they were Communists fleeing Cuba because they think the current system will be overthrown.
And if they aren't,they need to be back in Cuba helping to overthrow Communism.

That is not the point.
It is the inconsistency of his handling of illegals. He prefers to welcome in covid-carrying and murderous illegals from the South but not Cubans escaping Communist oppression.
Handling of racial issues is another instance of inconsistencies, as he is favoring one or more races over others. All racism is bad.

Cubans are NOT a separate race.
Inconsistency is the order of the day, whether it is deciding who gets to come in breaking our laws or whether one decides to advance blacks at the detriment of all other races by instigating racist policies.

No way in hell is that anywhere close to accurate. Probably what happened is the majority of the ones that responded to that poll were white or mostly white,and the others thought "You GOT to be bleeping me!" and didn't bother to waste their time.
Regardless of what you are,you ARE who you are,so why waste your time with polls?

I remember growing up in the 50's that it seemed like everybody I met was part American Indian. Or thought/claimed they were.

I remember that there used to be a lot of descendants of 'Indian Princess's'. :silly: And I have run into more than a few Americans of Native American ancestry that opined as to how every White Man stole their land and owed them reparations like Blacks(every one of them was descended of slaves don't ya know) and had joy in setting them straight at least to my ancestors. I have noticed that racists and bigots come in more colors than just white.

My ancestors, land grant in hand happened to be where two tribes were fighting over the same land. (Nanticoke and Powhatan). They struck a deal and bought the land from both tribes.

More likely iron tools. Beads and trinkets were a more northern thing, although I did find a number of clay pipe stem segments and a bowl. One of the pipe stems was stamped "Liverpool". but there is no guarantee those were used by the natives, or not segments of stem repurposed as beads.

My family are newbies circa 1952-3 but my wife's family(both sides) has been here a very long time. Her mothers from Oklahoma and some connections to Quanah Parker well diluted over the intervening decades.

Back to Biden and the left.
They obviously don't see sending Cuban refugees back to Communist Cuba because they think Communism is just peachy,and a better form of government just can't be found.
Of course,them sitting at the top of the pile of bodi.es may influence their viewpoints.
No so sure they would be fans if they worked a production line in a factory and lived in factory communal apartments.

My family are newbies circa 1952-3 but my wife's family(both sides) has been here a very long time. Her mothers from Oklahoma and some connections to Quanah Parker well diluted over the intervening decades.
We joked with my folks about me marrying a girl from an 'older family'.
Mom's side goes back to 1641 in MD, but my wife is Chippewa. happy77

My grandmother was a full-blooded Tuscarora,and one of the scariest-looking women I have ever seen a photo of.
The women I have talked with that knew her all claimed she was the smartest woman any of them ever met,and she lived amongst the whites with her white husband with no racial problems at all.

I haven't had any problems, but my wife's people were hunters for the fur traders, and were armed early. They remain proficient with firearms, and there are many skilled hunters in the family. My wife is a crack shot (keeps me honest :laugh:), but I bought a rifle for her as one of the first gifts I got her. She may not have the formal education I do, but she is smart, and knows things I do not. Had her Aunt not died before she had the opportunity to learn the herbal pharmacopia, she'd have all that, too,but did not want to become a Medicine Woman, because there are spiritual aspects to that that many whites scoff at, but can be downright dangerous.
Shakespeare did get one thing right: "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy." And even as a reasonably level headed scientist, yep, there are phenomena I can't explain with orthodox scientific means. Having experienced some of that, I am far less skeptical of things which ordinary science often summarily dismisses because it does not comply with dogmatic orthodoxy.
But then, maybe some day.
In the past speaking with someone miles away through a box would have been similarly dismissed, or considered cause to burn someone at the stake--now we do it all the time. :shrug:
Anyhow, it has been a good union.
