Report: Biden Admin Offers Intel on Hamas Leaders If Israel Quits Rafah Attack

Joel B. Pollak 11 May 2024

The Biden administration has reportedly offered Israel intelligence on the whereabouts of Hamas leaders in tunnels underneath Gaza — if Israel ends its ongoing attack on the last Hamas stronghold in the Gaza town of Rafah.

The Washington Post reported on Saturday: “The Biden administration, working urgently to stave off a full-scale Israeli invasion of Rafah, is offering Israel valuable assistance if it holds back, including sensitive intelligence to help the Israeli military pinpoint the location of Hamas leaders and find the group’s hidden tunnels, according to four people familiar with the U.S. offers.”

The offer puzzled observers, who wondered why the Biden administration did not simply give Israel the intelligence needed to find the Hamas leaders, especially as five Americans are still hostage.

The Biden administration has insisted since February that Israel should not attack Hamas in Rafah, suggesting that there are other ways to remove the Hamas leaders from Gaza. The administration has never said what those ways are.

Biden recently paused certain arms shipments to Israel, including heavy bombs and artillery, as a statement of opposition to Israel’s operation in Rafah. Israel sees the operation as necessary to win the war and prevent Hamas from returning to power in Gaza.

Supporters of Israel in the United States have also argued that if Hamas survives, terror groups will be emboldened around the world, and will step up attacks on the U.S. and other countries.

Vegan is against nature
I read about this years ago when Queen's Gambit with Anya Taylor-Joy came out. Apparently wide-set eyes denote prey. This trait is attractive in women because it makes them look innocent, fragile, and nonthreatening, like a deer or a rabbit.

Whereas close set eyes are more of a male trait as the hunter. But too close denotes evil/aggression as in the famous expression 'beady eyed crook'.

You need to read through the end of this.

On Wednesday, May 8, another 225 Chinese nationals crossed into San Diego through the CA, Mexico border. This puts the base number of illegal Chinese foreigners gaining entry into America at 1,200 in the first eight days of May alone.

Massive majority are coming through San Diego, CA.

Since fiscal year 2024 began in October, 24,214 Chinese nationals have been apprehended illegally crossing the border. According to the House Committee on Homeland Security:

Encounters of Chinese nationals in March 2024 increased over 8,000 percent compared to March 2021, and have surpassed all of last fiscal year––just six months into fiscal year 2024.

What a guy!  On the one hand, he helps write law.  On the other, advises how to break those same laws.  What surprises me, though, he's a democrat!

Top 10 lobbying spenders on energy, the environment
By Timothy Cama | 01/27/2023 06:42 AM EST

The Inflation Reduction Act helped drive lobbying spending increases.

This story was updated at 9:30 a.m. EST.

The biggest climate bill in U.S. history helped fuel heavy lobbying from chemical, oil and electric utility companies.

Records disclosed to Congress in recent days showed that the American Chemistry Council came out on top, spending $19.8 million. That’s a 19 percent increase over 2021.

The combined spending of three petroleum interests far outpaced that figure, however. Occidental Petroleum Corp., ConocoPhillips Co. and Exxon Mobil Corp. combined for a whopping $27.2 million in spending in 2022, a 23 percent increase over 2021.

It was a busy year for many industries, headlined by the Inflation Reduction Act, which includes $369 billion in climate change and energy spending.

I wonder if there are more up-to-date figures available.

The average weight of people in the United States and North America as a whole is higher than any other region in the world.

In 2012, BMC Public Health reported the following average weights by region. The averages were calculated using data from 2005, and relied on combined statistics for men and women:

    North America: 177.9 pounds
    Oceania, including Australia: 163.4 pounds
    Europe: 156.1 pounds
    Latin America/Caribbean: 149.7 pounds
    Africa: 133.8 pounds
    Asia: 127.2 pounds

The world average for an adult’s weight is 136.7 pounds.  ...

Our most recent trips to Europe were in 2017 and 2018, and we saw quite a few overweight locals in Germany, France and UK.
