'Really nervous' Hope Hicks says she hasn't spoken to Trump since 2022
By Kyle Schnitzer

Hope Hicks testified that she hasn't spoken to Donald Trump since 2022.

Asked by prosecutors when she last had communication with the former president, Hicks said it was in the summer or fall of 2022.

Hicks is now testifying about her start at the Trump Organization, where she started as director of communications around October 2014.

When asked if she was nervous being here, Hicks, who was served a subpoena by the Manhattan DA's office, said, "I'm really nervous."

Hicks: Trump is a 'very good multitasker'
By Kyle Schnitzer

Hope Hicks testified that Donald Trump is a "very good multitasker" who ran the Trump Organization like a "family business."

“He’s a very good multitasker. He’s a very hard worker," Hicks said on the stand, adding that he could wear many hats at once.

She said that everyone who works at the Trump Organization reports to Trump.

"It’s a very big and successful company, but it’s run like a family business in certain ways," she testified, adding that Trump's children — Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and Ivanka Trump — were others who workers reported to.

Hicks thought Trump was 'joking' when he offered her press secretary gig
By Kyle Schnitzer

Hope Hicks testified Friday that she thought Donald Trump was "joking" when he told her she was going to be his campaign's press secretary in June 2015.

"I think Mr. Trump was joking but he said I was going to the campaign press sectary," Hicks told Manhattan prosecutors.

She added that she had "no experience" and didn't take Trump's offer "very seriously" until she eventually claimed the role.

A dad of three who was believed to be among the Israeli hostages held in Gaza has been confirmed dead, months after two of his children were released from Hamas captivity as part of a cease-fire deal, officials said.

Dror Or, 49, was killed in Kibbutz Be’eri during the Oct. 7 Hamas attack and his body was brought to Gaza, the Israeli government said Thursday.

“We are heartbroken to share that Dror Or who was kidnapped by Hamas on October 7, had been confirmed as murdered and his body is being held in Gaza,” the government wrote on X.

I agree with both @PeteS in CA and @Cyber Liberty .  The GP is incredibly sloppy and sensationalistic in its reporting, but I also think they've likely been hit with some suits purely for harassment purposes.

Of course, the same thing is applicable to them that is applicable to Trump -- if you make it too easy for your enemies to come after you, you share in the blame for your fate.
