AOC complains to Sergeant at Arms about her safety after Taylor Greene confronts her outside of House

The office of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has reportedly contacted House leadership about security concerns after the New York Democrat was confronted by Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on Wednesday.
The Washington Post explained that two of its reporters witnessed the incident, describing Greene as “aggressively” approaching Ocasio-Cortez and “falsely” accusing her of supporting “terrorists.”
The paper said that Ocasio-Cortez’s office pressed House leaders to guarantee that Congress is “a safe, civil place for all Members and staff.”
