DeSantis has said that Trump is better than Biden, but that's about the extent of him coming close to actually endorsing him.

He was smart to drop out early to avoid Trump continuing with his smear campaign against him.

Now Trump needs his help.  What a jackalope!

Yup. So far DeSantis has done the bare minimum in order to support the party and keep his word... Just exactly the right stance. And there is where he should remain. Any more than his endorsement would put strain on his own credibility. Push that tar baby away and get back to TCOB.

The Court notably includes the following statement in the contempt order: "It is critically important that Defendant's legitimate free speech rights not be curtailed, that he be able to fully campaign fot the office which he seeks and that he be able to respond and defend himself against political attacks."

However, he cannot respond to Michael Cohen who has continued to attack him, campaign against his election, and discuss the case. That is not what some of us view as a "narrowly tailored" order.

And then there's this:

Benny Johnson
@bennyjohnson

Judge Merchan fined Trump $9k for violating his Gag Order and threatened “incarceratory punishment” if he does it again.

They are going to JAIL HIM for talking.

For exercising his First Amendment rights.

The greatest threat to American democracy is not Trump, it’s corrupt activist Judges!

Weak ass State Department diplomats think of war as law enforcement.

At least Liberace had flair.

There can be a ceasefire yesterday if Hamas surrenders and releases the hostages and bodies.

Remarkable video from today's House hearing. Matt Gaetz and Lloyd Austin both agree it's very likely U.S. troops will come under fire from Hamas.

If you don't have a slate of alternate electors, there is no one to approve in the event they are needed. They were not fake, but alternates, like an understudy ballerina isn't fake, just ready to step in if the star of the show can't show.

Still the same thing - Acting outside of their authority, or rather, without authority.

The Secret Service officer assigned to Vice President Kamala Harris’ security detail who got into a brawl with her colleagues last week is described by a former coworker from the Dallas Police Department as mentally unwell and having “screws loose,” The Post has learned.

Michelle Herczeg was temporarily removed from her duties last Wednesday after she assaulted a superior officer at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, where she was waiting for Harris’ departure.

The Dallas PD colleague exclusively told The Post they’re gobsmacked Herczeg was picked for the Vice President’s detail as in their experience she was not the type of person suited to law enforcement.

“I wouldn’t have allowed this person to supervise my dog, much less the Vice President… Somebody dropped the ball on this one,” the former colleague said. ...

Herczeg’s former colleague said she was reassigned to a small unit at the Dallas Police Department and at the time other officers were warning “watch your back, watch yourself” when working with her because she was so “litigious.” ...

You forgot to drop the mic.

That’s because they don’t expand their sources of information beyond TruthSocial

Recall the “DeSantis was copying Trump’s travel ban” fiasco that wasn’t so?
