Fact Check: What's the Real Story on Seth Rich?

Online conspiracy theories hit the mainstream media last week and metastasized.
Ten months after his death, reports continue to circulate concerning the murder of Seth Rich, a 27-year-old data analyst for the Democratic National Committee. Seth Conrad Rich died hours after what police investigators (who are still working on the case) have long said was likely an attempted robbery. Online conspiracy theorists and cable news commentators, on the other hand, claim that Rich was a WikiLeaks informant and insinuate that he was killed for political reasons.
These theories began with insinuations from WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, who offered a $20,000 reward for information about Rich's murder last August and suggested that Rich may have been a martyr to WikiLeaks' mission and the source of leaked DNC emails. But the theories were fueled by other parties, too. Republican lobbyist Jack Burkman—who's worked with the Rich family, canvassing their Northwest D.C. neighborhood for leads, and is offering a $105,000 reward—has said that he believes the Russian government may be to blame.

Do we even have Seth's autopsy, we basically lack info on this case so Weekly Standard ride out on their high horse and point out Rod Wheeler's supposed errors and they may well be errors because it seems this case is so hushed up.

Just remember, @CatherineofAragon , that it's not a fact unless it validates the Clinton mafia conspiracy. Otherwise, it's just a "DNC talking point" no matter how truthful it may be.

It reminds me of what I saw on the TBR Twitter timeline the day we were down. Some nut posted a fake photo of Ariana Grande, and when she was advised of that fact, screeched, "Why are you defending Ariana Grande?"

Sounds to me like this is largely based on what this Rod Wheeler said at one point but has since retracted. Wheeler was hired by an outsider with an axe of his own to grind.

A lot of these people are hard left agitators who only seek global socialism and the destruction of freedom. If the right isn't smart enough to avoid walking into their traps again and again, we don't deserve to survive.
Cernovich, Baked Alaska, Milo, Kit DotCom, Julian Assange and others have all figured out that there is a whole other source of useful idiots on the right who are ripe to exploit. All they have to do is spout a few of the right words like "Globalism" and blame a few of the right people like Clinton or Soros and the useful idiots will follow blindly without doing an ounce of research.

Yeah, he should be, and people like Hannity and Palin agreed until he said something bad about Hillary Clinton. That's all it took to make them undergo complete 180s.

Gorbachev was a lot "nicer" than Putin but Reagan had zero qualms about being tough with him and merciless with the ideology that drove him.
I have a Russian friend who says that Reagan destroyed the Soviet Union with one act. Where Soviet leaders looked over the heads of crowds in red square and told them what government would do, Reagan looked them in the eye and told them that God had set a destiny for mankind to be free to determine our own path. Reagan put himself out there as one of them rather than above them and it broke the government hold.

So, Trump and Reagan yes, are visionaries, we hope for the best with them.
Gorbachev has had some serious criticisms as well per how the West has treated Russia. He should be listened too.

Consider three different viewpoints. A detective, whose job it is to gather the facts, would rely upon tried and true methods to piece together the puzzle and see where it leads. Then you have the anti-conspiracy theorists who will go to any lengths to paint any conspiracy viewpoint as the lunatic fringe.
Then you have me.
Based on their track record, any act remotely related to the Clintons I assume is rotten to the core. It is simply the way they operate - the pattern has been clear for decades. But don't take my word for it. Instead listen to the insiders with hands on experience who will come right out and explain the entire Clinton modus operandi. The Clintons are incapable of doing a single thing above board.
Then you have the DNC - they are incapable of doing things above board as well. But don't take my word for it. Just pickup a newspaper and look at the long and ugly trail of misdeeds going back decades. The pattern is clear.
I choose to follow the unmistakable patterns of behavior simply because that is what logical human being do. If you choose to ignore these patterns that is your choice. Turn on CNN and join the millions who have made the exact same choice.
