Thank you, Secretary Kennedy, for confirming everything I have been saying about the origin of the virus and how it ended up in Wuhan.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Paul.
Why?  Isn't he holding the contempt vote tomorrow? Wasn't that the announcement you were referring to that dropped into the news?

Am confused.

Chairman Paul Releases Contempt Resolution Against Dr. Anthony Fauci; Committee to Vote Thursday

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, under Chairman Rand Paul (R-KY), will vote Thursday at 8:30 AM EDT on a resolution to hold Dr. Anthony Fauci in contempt of Congress for refusing to answer questions under subpoena.

“Dr. Fauci appeared under subpoena and invoked the Fifth Amendment to refuse answering questions. During the hearing, I ruled that the Fifth Amendment did not apply because of the pardon, and that Fauci had waived any remaining privilege by giving opening testimony. I ordered him to answer and warned him about contempt, yet he still refused. That is obstruction of a congressional investigation. The Committee will act accordingly,” said Chairman Paul.

The resolution will be considered by the Committee on Thursday.

You can read the full resolution HERE.

I am too, but it seems Paul is moving ahead with the Contempt Resolution.

Three state attorneys general subpoena Anthony Fauci over Covid guidance

NBC News by Kyla Guilfoil 8/5/2026

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier said Wednesday that his office is joining two other states in issuing a subpoena to Dr. Anthony Fauci, alleging that he "profited" from the recommendations he gave during the handling of the Covid pandemic.

Uthmeier, joined by West Virginia Attorney General John McCuskey and Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill, said in a news release that he was issuing an investigative subpoena to Fauci for "an official investigation into awards, professional opportunities, financial incentives, grants, and Covid-19 guidance that impacted Florida businesses and consumers."

"Government officials have a certain level of immunity in their official capacities, but if Fauci personally profited off of the 'guidance' he issued, that very well could have broken Florida law," Uthmeier said.

The move comes as Fauci has faced renewed scrutiny from some lawmakers on Capitol Hill over his handling of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Uthmeier cited the journal entries recently released by Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., that revealed Fauci's near-daily account of the pandemic as it unfolded during both the Trump and Biden administrations.

Senate committee votes to hold Fauci in contempt for refusing to answer COVID questions
Aug 6, 2026, 7:27 AM | Updated: 12:08 pm

BY ERIC TUCKER, ASSOCIATED PRESS

WASHINGTON (AP) — A Senate committee on Thursday voted to hold Dr. Anthony Fauci in contempt of Congress and refer him to the Justice Department for potential prosecution over his refusal to answer questions at a hearing last week focused on his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs held the vote one week after Fauci invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination more than 100 times when he appeared before the panel.

Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, the committee chairman, has said that constitutional protection did not apply since Fauci last year received a pardon from Democratic President Joe Biden and thus did not have to worry about the threat of prosecution. Fauci and Democrats who opposed the contempt resolution say he had a well-founded fear of self-incrimination given a public desire by Republicans to seek his prosecution.

THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE. AP’s earlier story follows below.

WASHINGTON (AP) — A Senate committee is set to vote Thursday on whether to hold Dr. Anthony Fauci in contempt of Congress and refer him to the Justice Department for potential prosecution over his refusal to answer questions at a hearing last week focused on his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fauci invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination more than 100 times when he appeared before the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. Sen. Rand Paul, the committee chairman, has said that constitutional protection did not apply since Fauci last year received a pardon from Democratic President Joe Biden and thus did not have to worry about the threat of prosecution.

“Dr. Fauci faced no risk of federal prosecution,” Paul, R-Ky., said at the outset of a hearing. “All he had to do was tell the truth.”

Paul noted that Thursday’s vote has nothing to do with Fauci’s policies, opinions or anything he has said in previous congressional appearances.

Don't they think that's being a little brutal?  I think the worst that can happen is Fauci get a handwritten reprimand from J.D. Vance that says, "bad boy." *****rollingeyes*****

He needs to start talking or live out his days on the island of misfit toys.  Totally absurd for the highest paid official to have so much contempt for the public.

Nice. What a despicable couple. I'm sure in their minds the one and only famous Anthony Fauci has done nothing wrong.

Quite amazing that the guy is still breathing .... he's committed so many crimes against so many.
