Kind of like Mexico will pay for the wall...

They didn't and there's no wall.
:pondering: I was thinking more along the lines of feeding democrats an opening to cry Russia Russia Russia!

Why any rational person would think it is a good idea to put that bucket full of assholes, called the WHO, in charge is beyond me.
6
Absent ratification by the Senate, or specific implementing implementing language passed by Congress, Biden's signature has no force, and the WHO has no authority here.

Actually, the WHO likely would have no authority here either way.  You'd need specific Acts of Congress to pass whatever specific recommendations the WHO might make down the road.

So while I agree with calling this out, the practical impact is very small.
When has this stopped the Obiden train?

Biden is desperate

President Joe Biden‘s reelection team is grasping at straws, and for good reason. The RealClearPolitics polling average has the incumbent down a point to former President Donald Trump nationally, and, more importantly, RCP has Trump slightly ahead in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, Michigan, and North Carolina — also known as the states that pick the president.

The bellwethers of days gone by, Ohio and Florida, are almost certainly out of reach for the 46th president. If polls are to be believed, those contests will likely be double-digit victories for Trump.

Sixty-five percent of people say inflation has negatively affected their finances, with 19% saying inflation has made their personal finances “much worse.” One in six people are unable to pay their monthly bills.

Biden has managed to thread the needle in such a way that leftists, libertarians, and Muslim voters, as well as the vast majority of the electorate that supports Israel, all disapprove of the president’s handling of the Gaza war. North of 65% of voters believe the country is headed in the wrong direction. These are abysmal, some could argue insurmountable, numbers for an incumbent in his early 80s dealing with increasingly indefensible mental decline.

It probably wouldn’t use the term “Hail Mary,” considering the administration’s open hostility toward the Catholic Church and Christianity generally, but team Biden is certainly looking for ways to change the narrative. Last week, in a move that surprised even yours truly, Biden agreed to two debates with Trump, albeit with Biden-friendly stipulations that will make sure the senile president cannot be booed by an audience, be forced to stay up too late, or face questions from objective journalists.

Trump-skeptical Republicans are apprehensive about attending Milwaukee convention

Several key Republicans in the Senate haven’t made a decision on whether they will attend former President Donald Trump’s presidential nomination at the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.

Sens. Mike Rounds (R-SD), Susan Collins (R-ME), Bill Cassidy (R-LA), Jerry Moran (R-KS) and Rand Paul (R-KY), told the Hill they have not decided whether they will attend gathering. Four, including Sens. Mitt Romney (R-UT), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Todd Young (R-IN) and Thom Tillis (R-NC), have decided they will not go.

That makes at least nine of the Republican party’s 49 senators who will not or haven’t decided on going to the convention. Eight of the nine have not backed Trump’s presidential run, and that appears to be a key factor in their decision or lack thereof to go to the convention.

There’s precedent for GOP senators missing the convention. More than 20 Senate Republicans avoided the 2016 convention as the party grappled with Trump’s nomination, and some avoided the 2020 iteration, though that was heavily influenced by COVID-19.

The 2024 convention is Trump’s third, and a major event, like the pandemic, isn’t reducing attendance.

Rounds has indicated that he could change his mind about attending depending on who Trump picks for his running mate. He likes Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), who is a favorite, and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) in particular.
