Yep.  This should be a warning to the GOP to stop screwing over their Conservative base.  But they won't.

Warning to the GOP??  They've had many warnings.  How many conservatives though do we have left in Congress?  I don't believe that there are enough conservatives left to make a difference and the rest of them don't give a damn as they realize that the left is so bat crap crazy that the odds of them winning is minimal anyways, except if they manage to steal seats.

I'm not so sure at this point that voters will flock to Elon as so many people feel that voting 3rd party is futile.  He does have wealth behind him and he himself obviously can't run, so I'm curious as to who he's going to hire to run for president of his party?

In Texas region prone to catastrophic floods,
questions grow about lack of warning

Water rose fast along the Guadalupe River, causing 68 deaths as of Sunday afternoon. Local officials said they couldn’t have seen it coming.

Paul Cobler July 5, 2025

The forecast began to look ominous in the Texas Hill Country on Thursday afternoon.

A flood watch was issued by the National Weather Service at 1:18 p.m. that predicted up to 7 inches of isolated rainfall early Friday morning in South Central Texas, including Kerr County.

By the time the sun rose on the Fourth of July, less than 24 hours later, as much as 12 inches of rain had fallen in parts of the region while its residents were asleep, according to NWS radar estimates. The Guadalupe River gauge at the unincorporated community of Hunt, where the river forks, recorded a 22-foot rise in just two hours, said Bob Fogarty, meteorologist with the NWS Austin/San Antonio office. The gauge recorded a level of 29 ½ feet before becoming completely submerged and failing, Fogarty added.

Will the America Party consider the federal and state governments pouring massive subsidies into both Telsa and SpaceX  waste or fraud or abuse --- or all three?   :pondering:

What subsidies has Tesla and SpaceX received.  Please be specific.

All Dems have a shot at it if Elon gets his 3rd party going.

KY Gov. Beshear: BBB ‘Single Worst Piece of Legislation I’ve Seen in my Lifetime’

Governor Andy Beshear (D-KY) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that the “Big, Beautiful Bill” was “the single worst piece of legislation” he has seen in his lifetime.

Beshear could actually as long as he doesn't suck up to the far-left with idiotic statements like this.

Trump calls Elon Musk a 'train wreck' as he breaks silence to taunt billionaire's 'ridiculous' plan to break up two-party system

President Donald Trump taunted Elon Musk's new third party as 'ridiculous' and said it has been sad to watch his former First Buddy go 'completely off the rails.'

Trump said Musk's America Party would 'never work' as the world's richest man carried out his threat to challenge the two-party system.

'Have fun,' Trump said in response.

And, in a lengthy post on his Truth Social account, Trump accused Musk of going 'completely off the rails.'

'I am saddened to watch Elon Musk go completely “off the rails,” essentially becoming a TRAIN WRECK over the past five weeks. He even wants to start a Third Political Party, despite the fact that they have never succeeded in the United States.'

Musk, in retaliation for Trump's 'big, beautiful bill,' officially filed a Statement of Organization on Sunday with the Federal Election Commission for his 'America Party' political party.

Trump, asked about it, went off on his former 'first buddy.' Musk, the world's richest man, spent millions helping Trump win a second term in the White House.

'I think it's ridiculous to start a third party,' Trump told reporters in New Jersey on his way back to the White House after a weekend at his Bedminster golf club.

'We have a tremendous success with the Republican Party. The Democrats have lost their way, but it's always been a two party system, and I think starting a third party just adds to confusion. It really seems to have been developed for two parties. Third parties have never worked, so he can have fun with it, but I think it's ridiculous.'

Musk quickly, indirectly, responded on social media, asking: 'What the heck was the point of @DOGE if he’s just going to increase the debt by $5 trillion??'

My personal thought is that Musk understands commerce and corporations, but he has very limited experience with government. Musk wants immediate change and immediate results. Government simply does not work that way.

The U.S. Economy is a Titanic Goliath. Like a cruise liner you cannot suddenly change direction or bring it to a stop. This is a long slow well planned process. Because Musk is impatient and impulsive, his nature is not suited to slow and steady change. Musk wants change "NOW!" today, and with a thing as huge as America, more careful deliberation and calculation is required.

That's rich considering Trump ran as a Reform party candidate in 2000...

That's right. Myself and my friends once were sturdy Republicans. Now nary a one. We're all considered too far to the right. But we didn't move an inch. That should tell you something.

And Tumpy's full of crap, btw. Sooner or later this bill is going to come due, and change will happen so fast that no one will be able to keep up with it.

Don't say you weren't warned.

The real question is can anyone to the right of barking moonbat Maoist have a chance at the nomination?

Most of the blue dogs are long out of the Rat party. Don't see Beshear having any more chance than a cold bottle of beer at a frat party.
