On Saturday, conservative talk radio host Mark Levin accused the Republican establishment of having no principles or vision. He blasted them for claiming they will "fight" President Barack Obama and his policies like Obamacare once they "win," even though past evidence has shown that they will not.

Levin said (http://www.marklevinshow.com/common/page.php?pt=%22Win+first%2C+fight+later.%22&id=6583&is_corp=0) the though the establishment's "Win first, fight later" bumper sticker "passes as wise insight," the Republican establishment will "neither win nor fight when it comes to the left."

The radio host blasted Republicans for participating in "funding Obamacare while scheduling vote after vote and pretending to repeal it."

"That was supposed to mollify you. It was pure deceit. Every bit as deceitful as Obama's serial lies about keeping your health insurance if you wanted to," Levin wrote. "Having lied repeatedly about its own tactics, the GOP establishment became unhinged when Ted Cruz and Mike Lee exposed its fecklessness and dishonesty by insisting on waging a real procedural and substantive effort to slow or defund or do something about the most outrageous law in our lifetimes, Obamacare. Imagine that."

Instead of uniting behind Lee and Cruz, Levin said "the Senate leadership and its loyal fanatics sought to assassinate their character" and tried to get them to "keep their mouths shut" and "know their place." (sounds like he is quoting McCain here)

Thereby breaking the 11th Commandment, in spectacular fashion.  The 11th Commandment was written for precisely this sort of situation - to control the GOP establishment, generally moderates - and to prevent them from getting the party into a circular firing squad by denigrating the more conservative members of the GOP.

Maybe Levin should run for office.

He only preaches to the choir. His screaming style is a total turnoff to undecided voters. That is my opinion.

Levin spends most of his time trashing Republicans and conservatives.  He's appealing to a subset of people, all angry just like he is.  They buy his books and show up at his book signings.

It's all about business.

Not conservatives - at least conservatives stand for something, no one has a clue these days what Republicans stand for.
