It’s really getting crowded! I think I might need a scorecard shortly. Just kidding.

The clown car is getting full. They will have to break out the short buses if the players keep crowding the field.

Another delusional nitwit enters the fray. And likely there are more to come. The more the merrier I say.

Klobuchar jumps into 2020 race
By Lisa Hagen - 02/10/19 03:27 PM EST
Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) on Sunday announced that she’s running for president in 2020, becoming the fifth U.S. senator to jump into the race to defeat President Trump.
Standing on a snow-covered stage in Boom Island Park in Minneapolis, where the temperatures had dipped to a freezing 14 degrees, Klobuchar announced her candidacy while invoking her family's deep roots in the Midwest, a key battleground for Democrats as they look to rebuild their blue wall in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.
“Today on an island in the middle of the mighty Mississippi … I stand before you as the granddaughter of an iron ore miner, as the daughter of a teacher and a newspaperman, as the first woman elected to the United States Senate from the state of Minnesota, to announce my candidacy for president of the United States," Klobuchar announced to a cheering crowd of onlookers.
The three-term senator laid out her vision for the country in a number of policy areas. She pledged to "take on the gun lobby," root out corporate money in politics, commit to environmentally friendly policies, lower health care costs, restore voting rights and implement privacy protection laws.

Same thing as 2016 with the GOP. Seventeen candidates.
All they want is to see themselves on Wiki....adds to their family name and resume.

And they'll forever be referred to as "former Democrat candidate for president".

Just trying to use a bit of common sense.
Is this one trying to convince me she is smart, yet standing out in blowing snow?
Don't they have big buildings they could go inside?
*Four of my great grandparents lived in Minesota (having come from Sweden,Canada), but all headed South and West ).

One more nitwit in a sea of nitwits. Anybody going to notice?

There was once a time Helen Thomas was not terrifying to children (I've seen pictures), so....Why not Pelosi? How did that old song go..."She may not be very pretty now, but she was somebody's baby once?"
Something like that.

It's Gabriel, so maybe it's like Yes where the words don't make sense anyway.

When Peter Gabriel quit Genesis to embark on a solo career in 75, Genesis got better.

Them's fightin' words to my Big Brother, back at the Teke House.
(I am forced to agree with you. I preferred the Collins Genesis to the years with Gabriel. That said, Gabriel made a better solo act, so probably both Genesis and Gabriel improved with his departure.)

Oh yeah. There was much consternation over his departure at "The House". Bother Blutarski took to the bottle. Some say he always drank. Isaid yes, but from cans. Took about 2 albums for it to go away.

Oh how I miss John Belushi. I bet he would have made some great funny movies.

Those first couple of post-Gabriel Genesis albums were shaky because Collins taking lead vocal was supposed to be temporary (I mean really! Who has a drummer sing lead?). Collins was looking for a Gabriel replacement then. Once Collins decided he was going to stay lead vocalist (and stay with Genesis while doing a solo act), things smoothed out and the band moved on to better things.
Did that make Collins a bit of a jerk? Sure, but who cares? It's not like he'll ever come to my bar....

I think so. I was, however, very underwhelmed by "Neighbors," and it was surprising to see a Belushi/Aykroyd movie suck like that. YMMV.

Look at most of the work the SNL guys pumped out after they put the coke spoons down. It's terrible....

I never saw Trouble, but I did see BB2, and it sucked. Would it have been better with Belushi? Probably not. I think he'd kicked the bucket by then, and Goodman is a poor replacement. I like him in his own parts, but being shoe-horned into BB2 was a rotten part for him.
To my bests recollection of those days, most of the movies from ex-SNL actors bombed because they decided to take themselves too seriously on the big-screen. Comparable to the Jerry Lewis transformation of the 50's and 60's. It could be because they could not transition from skit comedy?

Sorry Amy, you just received the kiss of death. The WSJ editorialized this morning that Sen. Klubuchar "may be the Democrat best able to beat Mr. Trump."

You can tell how obnoxious she is just by letting her speak...not on the stump but how she addresses people on the Judiciary Committee. It's not difficult to imagine how she treats her staff.

I'm sure she considers herself the cat's meow. Delusional is putting it kindly. I guess most politicians are self-satisfied.
