The incident occurred last September in Reston, Virginia, and the Fairfax County Police Department has now released body cam footage that shows just how dire the situation was.

The cop had no choice but to shoot.  She was chasing him with a butcher knife, and even if he shot her at 6 feet her momentum would have carried her close enough to her target to kill him.

Fewer people would be shot or killed by cops if they complied, stopped abusing drugs and booze, and took their pysch meds as directed by their doctors.

All the failings of civil Government fall upon first repsonders, mostly cops and EMT's/Fire.
