Yes, just my personal opinion. I have been watching Biden the last few months. Guy cannot even walk 10 steps.  His decline is growing exponentially if you even compare him to a 3-4 months ago.
The democrats hate him-Gaza, inflation, old age.

There will be a switcheroo at the DNC convention.

If Trump is still the nominee and the dems pull a switcheroo with someone like Beshear-young, goodlooking, charisma, very smart, Trump will not know what hit him as I said above.
If say Beshear is poling so far above Trump, I could see the elites make Trump an offer he cannot refuse.

Do not  think thing for a instant the RNC , the donor elites and the people who make things happen do  not have a plan B in the works.

Actually they may have a Plan A in the works that does not include Trump.

The biggest problem is that the convention rules are already set, and the delegates already picked.  Biden has to step down voluntarily, or it isn't happening.

The second biggest problem is all the Democratic interest groups that are going to feel disenfranchised if a substitute candidate is picked without voter input.  There is literally nobody they could pick that wouldn't piss off a chunk of their key constituencies.

I am not certain Trump will get the nomination.  His age is also creeping up on him..  People are tired of the chaos everywhere he goes. When his actual crimes come out for everyone to see he will be toast.  DeSantis and Haley are in the wings.

Again, the delegates are already selected, and the rules governing the election of the nominee is already set. On top of that, Trump's people have control of the relevant committees. It would be impossible to replace him without Trump's own consent, which he will never give.

And even if by some miracle they managed to replace him without his consent, He has a core of support that would be so furious. They'd boycott the election and guarantee a Republican defeat.

I also thought last year that Biden and Trump would not be the nominees, and counted on something happening in the interim to make that happen. But that something never happened, and here we are 3 months before the conventions with both of them having locked up enough delegates to win on the first ballot.

It's over.  Inertia won, which it has a habit of doing.

About to lose our nation ...
Some would say we have already lost our nation.
America today, especially in the cities and in our legal system, is utterly unrecognizable from four years ago.
America in so many ways, since Obiden, is now teetering on the verge of Third World status.

I don't disagree, @240B. But I believe it can still be turned around -- IF we don't get 4 more years from Biden (Obiden) & company. There will be too many votes against Trump (from both left and right) which will leave the Dems in charge for 4 more years. Look at the destruction they've done in 3 years. Imagine what they can achieve in 4 more. It's over.

there is no way that bumbling fool Biden got that many votes. They cheated and then tried to stop you from pointing out that they cheated. But they cheated.

And it'll be a lot more difficult for them to cheat this time but they'll try. That and bitching on end is what the left excels in.

There were no consequences for the last go around. They'll just get bolder at it.

Is your belief that is planned supported by anything other than raw conjecture?

Biden, Blinken Push Israel to Lose War — for a Fraction of the Hostages

Joel B. Pollak 2 May 2024

U.S. President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken have pushed Israel into a position where it must accept defeat in its war against Hamas terrorists — in return for just a fraction of the remaining Israeli hostages.

Under the terms of the hostage deal currently on the table, Israel would withdraw from Gaza; stay out of the last Hamas stronghold in Rafah; and release thousands of convicted Palestinian terrorists, among other concessions.

In return, Hamas would release 33 of the remaining 133 hostages, focusing on the old and infirm. It would retain a number of hostages to trade for a permanent ceasefire. But Israel could not restart the war even if it wanted to do so.

Most of the hostages — including most of the 100 or so still thought to be alive — would remain in Hamas’s hands. Terrorists would also have a strong incentive to kidnap Israelis — and Americans — in future, and will try to do so.

Israeli politicians, from left to right, understand exactly what the country is facing. Left-wing protesters chanted Thursday that Israel must choose between “Rafah” — i.e. winning the war — and releasing some of the hostages.

On the right, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s conservative coalition partners have threatened to leave the government if the deal goes through — which is entirely up to Hamas, since Israel has tacitly accepted it.

Obama Gets Reality Check after Claiming ‘No One in New York Likes Trump’
By: Jason Walsh
May 1, 2024

Former president Barack Obama has claimed. Republican front-runner Donald Trump is unpopular in his native New York.

During an appearance on an episode of the ‘Smartless’ podcast in March, Obama falsely claimed that nobody in New York likes the former president.

“Look, uh, you watch Trump’s campaign, you, you watch his career, if, if, if you know anybody,” Obama said before Biden interjected: “He’s a huckster.”

“He comes from New York,” Obama continued.

Watch: Sen. John Kennedy on Fire, Torches Climate Professor - 'You Gonna Call Me a Sick F***?'

 By Allison Anton
  May 1, 2024 at 2:14pm

While too many senators on the right haven’t been willing to call out radical wokeness, the obnoxiousness with which these activists have their defended their alarmist claims might have just pushed some senators over the edge.

Or, at least one, Republican Senator for Louisiana John Kennedy.

During a hearing on Wednesday regarding certain environmental topics, titled “Denial, Disinformation, and Doublespeak: Big Oil’s Evolving Efforts to Avoid Accountability for Climate Change,” Sen. Kennedy went toe-to-toe with professor Geoffrey Supran on the groups he publicly supports on social media.

And, as seen in a clip of the hearing shared to the social media platform X, the questioning got quite heated.
