There is also a video of @jmyrlefuller singing the 'Star Spangled Banner' in which he does an awesome job.

If I knew had to look up past posts, I'd post it.

It was A cappella!

It all depends on what one is doing whether it makes sense to access via laptop/desktop, tablet, or phone.  I've been able to keep tabs on, and restart, several cloud-based servers using the phone interface (AWS).

That's mostly right... Full function for me would be a desktop or laptop... After that I am trading function for convenience and/or portability. As to preference, I guess I ought to code from a full box... But it's laptop most of the time... ported into DEV which is on my server. Anything more intense for me is probably hands-on (hard drives and such), so that is going to be at the bench, at least to fire it up.

Surfing, messaging, PIM... all that has migrated to the point that I can function well on any device, though I still would prefer a full KB to an on-screen.

Found it!  @jmyrlefuller

Thanks, @Polly Ticks!

Everyone, queue up to 17:23 to see @jmyrlefuller singing the national anthem -- NOT an easy song to sing. Yet he did it and, yes, he hit THAT note!

I can't understand what happened with this guy.

When he was first proffered for the job, he seemed almost ideal -- good voting record, good background, etc.

And yet, once he was handed the Speaker's gavel, he began to slide downhill quickly.

Something happened.
Something... behind the scenes.
What was it?

Judge allows Stormy Daniels to give irrelevant, salacious testimony just to humiliate Trump
By Social Links for Jonathan Turley
Published May 7, 2024, 5:53 p.m. ET

Before the start of the Manhattan prosecution of former president Donald Trump, I characterized the case of District Attorney Alvin Bragg as based on a type of obscenity standard.

In a 1984 pornography case, Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart wrote “I shall not today attempt further to define [obscenity]. . . . But I know it when I see it.”

Bragg has refused to clearly define the crime that Trump was seeking to conceal when payments for a non-disclosure agreement was listed as a legal expense.

We would just know it when we saw it at trial.

We are still waiting, but this week, Bragg seems to be prosecuting an actual obscenity case.

The prosecution fought with Trump’s defense counsel to not only call porn star Stormy Daniels to the stand, but to ask her for lurid details on her alleged tryst with Trump.

Oh no, does that mean I've been an adult this whole time? Darn, there I was, setting goals, paying bills, filing taxes, etc., blissfully thinking I still had some time before adulthood set in!  :baby:

I was born crotchety.  A young fogey.

Saw that report too, but I think it appears only to be a postponement because of conflict with other trials.  That's at least what I thought I heard.

This is the case where Smith just admitted the evidence was mishandled and tainted, and where the Judge un-redacted a bunch of stuff in the past couple of weeks.  Smith is flailing on this one, all of a sudden.
