Because President Trump is blocking witnesses and documents,

I am old enough to vividly remember Watergate. There is no comparison between Nixon's woes and what has lately been nothing more than an attempted coup.
And Hell, I'll go on record to say if I suspected that a sleazy crooked political family like the Bidens were exerting their political clout to extort millions I'd take extraordinary steps to stop or expose it too. That shit sure is getting lost in the muck.

Rep. John Ratcliffe: 'The reason it hasn't been released is it's not helpful to Adam Schiff'
By Alex Swoyer and S.A. Miller - The Washington Times - Thursday, January 23, 2020
Democrats clamoring for more witnesses at President Trump’s impeachment trial are concealing one of those questioned in the House investigation, President Trump’s defense team says.
Rep. Adam B. Schiff, California Democrat, and other impeachment managers repeatedly talk about the 17 witnesses interviewed during the House’s secretive depositions. But they do not mention an 18th witness, Michael Atkinson, the intelligence community’s inspector general who has firsthand knowledge of the origins of the whistleblower complaint that led to the impeachment.

I am going to watch it again. I like the prayer. It really brought home the fact that it is ultimately Gods Will. I believe that God listens to our prayers and is concerned about us as a people. Especially when we open up our proceeding with our Love and gratitude for God and His righteous judgment. Unfortunately the video automatically stopped all by itself half way in.

I watched this video in its entirety. Very good presentation, and clearly without doubt shows that the House did not adhere to the Constitution in the impeachment process, and also clearly depicts Pelosi's and Schifft's 'scam of an impeachment'. Quite frankly, this scares the hell out of me, that this has even happened to the President of the United States. Also made very clear; the President was not given due process.
I don't see how it would be possible for the Senate to vote to remove him from office, when the procedures required by the House to impeach were never met to begin with and impeachment was based purely on circumstantial evidence. It really makes me shutter that this is being done to the President of the United States. If somehow they do vote to remove him; I see a revolution just around the corner.

That is my concern... if/when Trump is acquitted, the left will riot but if he is found guilty, the the right is going to go off.... may be no peaceful way out of this...

Simple problem with the "no evidence, no documents, no witnesses" pitch from the #SchiffShow -- the Senate Trial has already admitted massive amounts of evidence, including documents & testimony, already cited, quoted from & shown to the Senate from both sides. #ImpeachmentHoax

And this was exactly why McConnell "surrendering" on this point was such a smart strategic move. Automatically admitting every bit of evidence from the House proceeding immunizes the Senate from claims that it ignored evidence.
