Coons: Netanyahu Could ‘Break’ U.S.-Israel Strategic Relationship

Pam Key 12 May 2024

Biden campaign co-chairman Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could be breaking the relationship between the United States and Israel.

Partial transcript as follows:

COONS: Martha, I’ll remind you and your viewers, it was just three weeks ago that President Biden ably came to Israel’s defense, in partnership with the British, the French, the Saudis and the Jordanians when Iran launched 300 missiles and drones at Israel. It’s clear we are willing to strongly defend Israel, but he’s urging president — excuse me, Prime Minister Netanyahu to choose the path of peace that’s right in front of him, that requires reaching a deal with regional actors.

RADDATZ: Senator, if Netanyahu, Prime Minister Netanyahu, does go in with a full-scale assault on Rafah, what do you think the president should do? We’ve heard his warnings.

COONS: I think we will act. And I think this will be up to the president in exactly what way he will act.

But I’ll remind you, there’s precedent for this. President Reagan was — was in a position where he did the same thing.

    (CROSSTALK)

RADDATZ: Again, you remind us of that. But what — what do you mean he will act? He’ll stop weapons? He’ll stop more weapons?

    COONS: Yes.

RADDATZ: How many weapons? All weapons?

COONS: I’m clear that we will not abandon Israel. He will not stop providing defensive systems to Israel. Look, Hezbollah continues to attack Israel in the north. Just last night there was more rockets and shells coming into the north of Israel. I don’t believe we will leave Israel defenseless at all.

RADDATZ: So, you’re saying he’ll stop offensive weapons? Not defenseless, but you talk about specifically defensive weapons. So are you saying offensive weapons should be stopped?

COONS: Look, I think whatever munitions, such as the 2,000-pound bombs that have previously been used in Gaza, that are supplied only by the United States, and that can cause massive civilian casualties may well be paused.

It is tragic that we’re at this point. And, Martha, I want to conclude by saying that I hope Prime Minister Netanyahu is thinking about his legacy. Right now his legacy is the huge, strategic and defensive failure of October 7th and his legacy could be a real gap, a break in the long, strong, bipartisan, strategic relationship between the United States and Israel. I think that would be tragic. His legacy could instead be achieving regional security and peace for Israel.

Come on Bill...

There was never a bigger choke job than what Trey Gowdy did with Hitlerly's Server.  That inept ball rolls both ways.

From the article…

Despite admitting that it has no data to back up its conclusions, it nevertheless concluded that Israel has failed to protect Gaza’s civilian populations while using American weapons.

After admitting there are no real facts, Biden effectively accuses Israel of war crimes
By Andrea Widburg

Yesterday afternoon, the State Department issued a report in response to Biden’s demand that it analyze whether foreign governments are appropriately using weapons they received from America. It was apparent from the beginning that this was a set-up to attack Israel, and attacking Israel is what the State Department did. Despite admitting that it has no data to back up its conclusions, it nevertheless concluded that Israel has failed to protect Gaza’s civilian populations while using American weapons.

The New York Times went with the big headline: “US Criticizes Israel for Failure to Protect Civilians in the Gaza Conflict:

The Biden administration believes that Israel has most likely violated international standards in failing to protect civilians in Gaza...

In the administration’s most detailed assessment of Israel’s conduct in Gaza, the State Department said in a written report that Israel “has the knowledge, experience and tools to implement best practices for mitigating civilian harm in its military operations.”

But it added that “the results on the ground, including high levels of civilian casualties, raise substantial questions” as to whether the Israel Defense Forces are making sufficient use of those tools.

Apparently, Israel’s unique approach to protecting enemy civilians—warning its enemy in advance of battle plans, warning civilians in advance of strikes, providing evacuation assistance to civilians in advance of battles, and providing millions of tons (and millions of dollars) worth of supplies, including food and medicine, to civilians—simply isn’t good enough. Nor does it matter that Hamas has deliberately intertwined its military operations with civilians or that it continuously attacks Israeli civilians). If only one Gazan civilian dies, Israel is in the crosshairs.

It seems strange I never see republicans jumping on news like this.  I can't help but feel republican leadership secretly wants him busted by one of the Soros prosecutors so they can put their choice against Biden.  If Trump prevails, I hope voters remember the leadership who worked with democrats. 22222frying pan

So, the FBI manipulated and staged photos about classified documents found during the illegal Mar-a-Lago raid. And now Bragg is found to have manipulated so-called 'evidence' in the Stormy Daniels thing.

When is the Supreme Court or the FEC or some other ruling authority going to step up and put an end to all these 'monkey circuses' concerning President Trump?

There has never been a more blatant case of national election interference since Russia, Venezuela, Cuba, and Mexico. Is that where America is today? Someone has to put a stop to this shit-show.

‘They blew it at every turn’: Bill Maher slams Dems going after Trump in legal cases
“It's Stormy or bust.”

On Friday, Comedian Bill Maher called out the Democrats and prosecutors who are going after former President Donald Trump and said they "blew it at every turn."

On his HBO show Real Time with Bill Maher, the comedian said, "The Democrats have had four years to put Trump on trial and it is all just going away."

Maher first pointed to the former president's motion to disqualify Fulton County, Georgia, District Attorney Fani Wills for misconduct. He said, "They’re gonna take up Trump’s argument about Fani Willis. You know, she’s the prosecutor: she’s having an affair with the guy she hired. I mean, it’s not relevant to the case, but they left an opening. And now that one’s gonna be delayed.”

"The stolen documents one," he continued, referring to the case where the FBI allegedly found classified documents at Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate, "That’s never gonna happen because that’s a Trumpy judge down there."

All the death and destruction may have been avoided if the administration had been a good ally and shared intel to begin with.

BOMBSHELL: Biden Administration Has Been Hiding Intel on Location of Hamas Leaders in Betrayal of Israel

Joe Biden has been hiding intelligence on the whereabouts of Hamas leaders and their command tunnels, depriving Israel of vital information that could lead to an end to the war. That revelation came in a report on Saturday and was framed as the administration offering that information now if the ongoing operation in Rafah is canceled.

The story first broke in The Washington Post, with the paper describing the offer as follows.
