CANCELED: Town of Darien has canceled drive-through coronavirus testing

UPDATE: Darien’s drive-through testing has been canceled, according to a tweet from First Selectman Jayme Stevenson. The testing was to start Thursday. Some neighbors expressed complaints with the location of testing so close to their home on social media.
In a press release from Town Hall, First Selectman Jayme Stevenson and Department of Health Director David Knauf said “We appreciate the important work being done by Murphy Medical Associates to provide testing to our residents at their other locations.â€
There is a school district office, two schools, and two churches within a one mile radius of my home. I would be fine with a drive-through testing station being at any of those, assuming appropriate traffic control. These people who objected ... well ... I don't have kind words for them and will leave it at that.

The neighbors don't care. They have their TP and they're ready for anything.
