Title: The Counter-progessivist argument
Post by: olde north church on November 14, 2013, 01:17:34 am
Opposite political parties but the same point on the political spectrum.  Theodore Roosevelt and William Jennings Bryan were both followers of Progressive thought.  Born two years apart, Bryan the elder.
Interesting, Bryan was a Democrat Progressive and Christian.
I would recommend reading about the roots of the Progressive movement in both parties.  I'm not the first, of course, but I might recommend we move away from "Conservative" and move to "Counter-Progressives".
