Soldier's 103-year-old chocolate found

Nine 103-year-old chocolate bars have been discovered in a tin that belonged to a World War One hero.

It was found among a collection of items belonging to Leicestershire Regiment soldier Richard Bullimore.

Troops serving in France during the first Christmas of the war were given the Colonies Gift Tins, made in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.

Bullimore survived World War I and lived until 1967.  Read article to find out more.  He was a big war hero and did suffer shrapnel wounds to the head.

Jeez, no wonder those guys would charge machine guns - they were jacked on all that chocolate.

103-year-old English Cadbury?  It's probably every bit as good as when they were brand new. :whistle:

£2,000 sounds pretty cheap for the lot (there's more than the chocolate in there).
