wait, now he's a "political analyst"? Whatever, this son of a mailman is deep state defined - probably won't happen, then else he'd shut his RINO mouth.

FL, even south FL is conservative enough to give the finger to the this NBC affiliate.  Fox, ABC, CBS weathercasts are probably welcoming this.

Local Weather?  Parameters:

1. Highs, Lows, and % chance of rain for the next 7 days.
2.  Alert and keep public posted during severe weather events
3. Stick climate change commentary up your ass.

Washington Is High School With Paychecks
Derek Hunter

I’m glad my kids are too young to realize just how stupid most of the people who lead our government are. I’d like them to be realists about idiots rising in power, but at 6 and 5 it’s a little too soon for that, let childhood bloom.

Meanwhile, the rest of us have to live in a world where our tax dollars pay the salaries of morons to have the equivalent of a “your mama” match in the halls of Congress.

Look, I don’t have a dog in that hunt – I’d say AOC is a mile wide and an inch deep, but she’s far too shallow for that, I find Jasmine Crockett about as interesting as an infected cut, and Marjorie Taylor Greene is about as helpful as a wet cat.

And I don’t particularly care if Congressional hearings devolve into the Tom Brady Roast, most Members of Congress are worthless and, if we’re being honest, ugly and stupid on top of it. If they want to beat the hell out of each other metaphorically, or even literally, go for it. Put it on pay-per-view and help pay off the debt. I’d watch MMA: Congress, and you know you would too, whether you want to admit it or not.

"It might be nice to have another child."
But you never hear a guy say, "You know, I think I would like another kick in the nuts."

After giving birth the joy of seeing your newborn the pain is soon forgotten..at least for me it was who endured 27hrs of labor ending up with a c-section.

And yes, I wanted another child but was not blessed.

A collision of climate change, urban sprawl and poor infrastructure has pushed Mexico City to the brink of a profound water crisis.

The groundwater is quickly vanishing. A key reservoir got so low that it is no longer used to supply water. Last year was Mexico’s hottest and driest in at least 70 years. And one of the city’s main water systems faces a potential “Day Zero” this summer when levels dip so much that it, too, will no longer provide water.

“We’re suffering because the city is growing immeasurably and it cannot be stopped,” said Gabriel Martínez, 64, who lives in an apartment complex that struggles to get enough water for its roughly 600 residents. “There aren’t enough resources.”

Mexico City, once a water-rich valley that was drained to make way for a vast city, has a metropolitan population of 23 million, among the top 10 largest in the world and up from 15 million in 1990. It is one of several major cities facing severe water shortages, including Cape Town; São Paulo, Brazil; and Chennai, India. Many are the consequence of years of poor water management compounded by scarce rains.

And while Mexico City’s problems are worsening, they are not new. Some neighborhoods have lacked adequate piped water for years, but today, communities that have never had shortages are suddenly facing them.

World News / Re: WEF Demands Limits on Car Ownership Among General Public
« Last post by GtHawk on Today at 04:43:50 pm »
Don't worry, now that they've instituted EPA mandates that will effectively force all new cars to be electric in 8 years, and since they aren't approving the construction of new power plants sufficient to provide all the electricity necessary to supply an all-electric national vehicle fleet, there will be severe limits on who gets to own a car, in about 8 short years.
Who needs new power plants when they can deforest for solar, cover desert with solar put up Mr. Chop Chops everywhere to decimate raptors and pollinators? Of course wind mills sit idle when there isn't enough demand or it's too windy, and solar doesn't work at night and there is still the demand issue because traditional power generation can't just be shut down and easily restarted. I guess the answer is to cover up more land with acres and acres of battery storage farms......no problems there, it's not like those batteries don't just decide to burn explode
Just wait till they start trying to John and Jane Q Publics ICE or EV cars from them and you might just find what it takes to trigger the revolution.

Wow, can I relate.

In my case, I like to sit on the porch and overlook from these bluffs, and basically allow my eyes to unfocus, and let the mind wander.

Today's morning musings?

* I put a half a pound of red pepper in my bird feeders today  to repel squirrels. Still some partook.  Then thought for minutes, hopefully I might add,  whether it will get give them the shits.

* Figured out that damned crows are so smart that almost follow a flight pattern as predictable and consistent as commerical airlines.  watch sometimes.  And wondered how I could alter these demons path away from the orchard.

* Turkey's must be one of the dumbest creatures on earth.  A hen landed about 70-80 feet away from me, sat there 5 minutes still and stared.

* Where's all these Cicadas everyone is talking about?  I haven't seen or heard a one.

* I must not give my wife enough attention.  Otherwise she wouldn't be talking to her plants, flowers, and veggies  when she waters them.

* Hummingbirds are an engineering marvel of nature.  Fly 30 mph, then stop on a dime, and fly backward.  Then there is this one alpha bird that drives away the others,  WTH?  There is 6 flower spouts, and 10 oz of nectar, and you gotta be territorial

Nothing beats retirement.     happy77
