Editorial/Opinion/Blogs / Re: Conservatism’s ‘Three-Legged Stool’ Has No Legs Left
« Last post by unite for individuality on April 26, 2024, 10:53:59 pm »Erick Erickson is wrong about the right, wrong about conservatism, and hopelessly out of touch with political reality.
I can't quite make out what point the original article is trying to make.
My local radio station carries Erick Erickson's program.
He's a good, solid conservative - most of the time.
But sometimes he's RINOiest RINO in The Swamp.
He reminds me of a poker player who bluffs five percent of the time.
He tells the truth most of the time, but apparently does that
just to keep up his credibility, so people will believe him when he lies.
He claims that there was nowhere enough fraud in the 2020 election to reverse the outcome.
He claims that Dinesh D'Sousa's movie 2000 Mules has been "debunked."
He recited his "proof" of the "debunking" so fast that no one could catch what he said,
and so therefore could not analyze it.
Erick Erickson spent most of his career as a political consultant -
an employee of The Swamp.
He appears to still be working for The Swamp.
He often smears real conservatives as "wacko lunatics."
He supports Republican politicians who support conservatism 95% of the time,
but cave on the few actions that would REALLY make a difference.
