"The other thing that we're hearing coming out of the White House itself is… President Biden needs to campaign less, talk less, because he gets in trouble while doing it," he continued.
Interesting that this is a Biden quote. Biden constantly says, "I can't talk anymore or I will get in trouble.", then he wanders around the stage for a while eventually drifting off.

Reminds me of the universally repugnant Hillary Clinton. Her managers eventually had to do a "Biden Bunker Boy" type campaign with her too. Because every time she held a press conference or a so called 'rally' (couple of dozen people at best), her poll numbers went down. So eventually they took her off the stump.

Dems pin Trump in NYC courtroom and he just turns it into his own personal campaign stage

When Joe Biden flew to San Francisco on Thursday for some fancy fundraisers, reporters noted that all the televisions on Air Force One were tuned to MSNBC, where the chyron read: “Stormy Daniels wraps 7-plus hours of testimony in Trump hush money trial.”

The president might be enjoying the wall-to-wall coverage of his opponent stuck in a Manhattan courtroom, but it probably is not the electoral gift Biden imagines.

Ever the showman, Donald Trump has flipped the adversity of his lawfare travails into a triumph of free media hits worth almost $2 billion, according to data provided exclusively by his campaign.

With cameras banned inside the courtroom, the former president makes his own news when he turns up at the Manhattan Criminal Courthouse at Centre Street each day.

Every morning and some afternoons, Trump stands in the draughty 15th-floor corridor outside courtroom 1530 and addresses the assembled press pack without notes for three to five minutes, delivering pithy political bullets on the news of the day, trashing Biden, Judge Juan Merchan and the lawfare that Democrats are waging against him.

Trump campaign reacts to Biden’s ‘disgusting’ Mother’s Day ad
May 13, 2024 | Chris Donaldson

No holiday is sacred to President Joe Biden who already proved it with his marking of something called the Transgender Day of Visibility on Easter Sunday.

Now his team used Mother’s Day as the excuse to launch a “disgusting” new ad fearmongering moms to reject the candidacy of former President Donald J. Trump, a lowball move that was denounced by the former president and his campaign.

“Donald Trump wants to separate mothers from their children and allow laws that rip away IVF access and monitor women’s pregnancies,” the Biden-Harris HQ said in an X post sharing its short video. “This Mother’s Day, do the moms in your life a favor: Stop Trump.”

Biden to Host Hollywood Elite Fundraiser with George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Barack Obama

Paul Bois 13 May 2024

President Joe Biden will join former President Barack Obama at a star-studded Hollywood fundraiser next month with the likes of George Clooney and Julia Roberts.

“The high-profile Biden event, set for mid-June, will feature a contest with Clooney and Roberts run across the campaign’s social media platforms to engage grassroots donors, as well as top celebrities and surrogates,” reported NBC News.

Clooney and Roberts, both of whom starred together in the blockbuster Ocean’s 11, will also lend “their names for campaign emails and text messages, in hopes of attracting more contributions.”

The fundraiser comes after the Biden campaign reportedly took $26 million at another star-studded fundraiser in New York this past March, which the campaign said set a fundraising record for a single event.

Though Biden has repeatedly been trailing former President Trump in the polls, his primary advantage has been cash fundraising, which could potentially be overtaken if certain trends continue. Per NBC News:

The Biden campaign ended March with $85.5 million in cash on hand after raising $43.8 million that month — nearly tripling the Trump campaign’s haul in that period, according to the most recent filings with the Federal Election Commission. The Biden campaign’s financial position when factoring in the Democratic National Committee is almost double that of Trump and the Republican National Committee — $131 million versus $67 million.

Team Biden’s strong March was boosted by the three-presidents fundraiser at Radio City Music Hall. But Trump answered back quickly with his own high-dollar affair in Palm Beach, Florida, in early April. His campaign said the event raised $50.5 million, portions of which will likely be reflected in the next FEC filing.

Jaws star Susan Backlinie dies aged 77: Actress played the first shark victim in Steven Spielberg's iconic movie

Actress and stuntwoman Susan Backlinie, perhaps best known as the first shark attack victim in 'Jaws,' has died.

Backlinie, 77, suffered a fatal heart attack at her home in Ventura, California.

In addition to her career on the silver screen, Backlinie was a nationally ranked swimmer and professional diver.

Before she was brought onto 'Jaws' at 28 years old, she had worked as an animal trainer and performed as a mermaid.

She played Chrissie Watkins in Steven Spielberg's iconic 1975 film and spent three days rehearsing the opening scene in which she is thrashed around by a great white before vanishing beneath the waves.
