Fox News Reporter Chad Pergram is reporting new details about the schedule of the Senate's impeachment trial. The upper chamber is expected to debate and consider multiple motions as the Senate trial moves into its second week.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) expects the impeachment trial to begin in earnest on Tuesday as the senate considers various motions. The Senate majority leader has stated that he has the votes to allow the Senate to set rules for the trial that do not require calling additional witnesses to testify. The vote to consider new witnesses is expected to come towards the end of the impeachment trial.

A) Fox is told to expect multiple debates and motions on Tuesday. That will likely chew up all of Tuesday. Keep in mind that each motion may very well get two hours of debate.
