Bernie Sanders announces 2020 run: "We're gonna win"
Camilo Montoya-Galvez
Sen. Bernie Sanders, independent of Vermont, announced Tuesday he is launching a bid for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, hoping to reignite the ardent progressive support of his insurgent 2016 campaign.
"We're gonna win," Sanders told "CBS This Morning" co-host John Dickerson. In his second run, Sanders is vowing to launch a grassroots movement that will "lay the groundwork for transforming the economic and political life of this country."
He stressed that the chief priority for Democrats is to thwart President Trump's reelection bid next year. "It is absolutely imperative that Donald Trump be defeated, because I think it is unacceptable and un-American, to be frank with you, that we have a president who is a pathological liar," Sanders said during a wide-ranging interview in his home in Vermont.

Good news for Trumps re-election. The more socialist democrats there are in the field, the clearer the contrast will be between competing political ideologies.
We are headed towards a defining show-down in 2020. I’m betting the benefits of capitalism and economic expansion will win the day.

I hope you're right. But remember we're dealing with the era of Alex from The Bronx type you voting age adults that have been indoctrinated into socialism as the savior of everything.
Bernie should have been the nominee last time but Hillary and Debbie made sure he didn't make it.

I heard Bernie Sanders attack Donald Trump. He called him every ‘phobic’ in the book, including xenophobic.
Donald Trump – the guy who married two foreign women.

Bernie Sanders is in. Hooray, one more clown to help HR Clinton win the nomination. Yes, she is running, and the more clowns in the race, the better for her.
Last time, Sanders did as well as he did because he represented the NEVER CLINTON vote. With 15-25 candidates in the race this time, HR Clinton will skate through this primary like a hot knife through butter. The NEVER CLINTON vote will be divided between everyone in the clown car, and HRC has the easiest election of her life.
It will be TRUMP vs CLINTON once more.

This time, he will not stay in long. Too much competition. Clinton will win race after race, and he will come in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and be in and out before you know it.
HRC will win so many races that no one will catch her when the field is narrowed down.

Well, if that turns out to be true, then let’s count our blessings that a two-time loser like Hillary uses this opportunity to perform a swan dive into shallow water.
-
Two time loser means nothing. She knows where she made all her mistakes from last time. She is the single greatest threat to Trump. No other Democommie would do as well as HR Clinton. She is more moderate than the whole pack of fruitloops that have announced. She has a solid 35-40% base in the Democommie Party. While the other candidates will be getting 5-12 % if they are doing well, she will score 35% and win.
Abraham Lincoln had a similar general election, where there were four candidates, and all four received Electoral College votes. I believe Lincoln squeaked by with 34% to win. All HR Clinton needs for the first 10 or so primaries is 35-40%. After that, no one will catch her.
Trump has made some serious blunders that the media never addresses. First, he promised that on Day One he would end the H1-b Visa Program. He has not done this yet in two years. In fact, he met with the power brokers in the tech industry and I believe they convinced him to increase the number. His failure to do this will result in 500,000 people not voting for him. I know, I have worked on many software development projects with largely Asian Indians being used to staff what was once an American citizen bastion of high paying jobs. They have been terminated, forced to train their replacements from India at half pay and no benefits, and Trump has done nothing. This is s travesty that continues, and it will cost him.
Second, his failure to get the wall built will cost him millions of votes. From where I stand, he will have a hard time getting re-elected.
All Clinton has to do is live in five states during the general election, WI, MI, OH, PA and FL, and I believe she has at a minimum a 50/50 chance of winning.
The big question is what country to move to if Clinton gets elected, for the USA will not be worth sh*t! The New World Order will march to get the USA in line, which means bringing us down a few more notches as an economy. They are already undoing BREXIT. You watch, the UK will back track on leaving the EU. When that happens, and when Trump is gone, they will be right back on the destruction track they were on before Trump and BREXIT took place.
A small handful of people will rule this planet in the not too distant future, more than they do at present!

For starters, he could have made it his priority from day one, instead of trying to strike a devil’s bargain with establishment types that opposed him throughout the campaign. His first order of business was trying to take on Obamacare and threatening to primary the freedom caucus members in the 2018 midterms. After the defeat of the Obamacare repeal, he compounded that mistake by announcing support of incumbents at the Camp David meeting in January 2018. He’s gotten what he deserved from Congress, in that respect.

If HRC is breathing she's running.

Those who support her Identify with her Self Righteous Condescencion on a Cellular level.
And there just aren't enough of them to beat Trump in a General/Electoral contest.

Let's hope she gets the same treatment as Adlai Stevenson vs Ike. Twice.

Trump was played his first year, and misguided. It was pure folly to do Obamacare his first year. When he took office in January, 2017, only one third of America was subjugated to the vagaries Obamacare. Obama, knowing his healthcare program was a can of worms delayed its full implementation until 2018. So, last year was the first year all of America felt the insanity of Obamacare.
After two years, two squandered years with only the tax legislation to claim fame, which was huge, but not much for a Congress to produce in two years, he lost the House. Now, he is faced with executive actions to get anything done, for Congress is right where they love to be, in a position to do nothing.
And yes, HRC is running, been running for a solid year. I am 100% certain all her international travel was designed to see who would belly up to the table when it came time. We are talking possibly billions flowing into her private slush fund known as the Clinton Foundation.
She does not need to raise much money to be sitting on more money than what all the other candidates will raise combined. Believe me, the Mafia has/had nothing on the Clinton Crime Family. I have said it before, will say it again, I cannot wait for Fauxcahontas to go up against the queen of the Faux Foundation. Should make for great entertainment.
-
In regards to HRC, I am not so sure. I think the rising tide of sentiment against abortion / infanticide is turing in our favor. The overly vocal newbies are pi$$ing off a lot of the indiependents that might have gone in favor of HRC with their support of abortion/ infanticide, universal health care, free college etc... with no way to pay for it on the Demoncrat platform. She will need to appease them or they will all swing behind Bernie. Look how they almost took out Pelousy. She was biting her nails and shitting her Depends over the speakership.

I think they have, but she had a large accumulation already in the bank. That said, it will take a lot more for the big-city ad buys she'll need to counter the clown car of loonies she's running against.
-
Contributions did not dry up. I believe it was reported they were down 35%, which is not drying up. Believe me, the Clintons continue to rake in coin for their criminal enterprise of Bribes Are Us.

I'm not worried about the legal voting population. Most people don't want socialism. I am worried about voter fraud.
Why do you think democrats get so hysterical when people want to make sure voters are eligible to vote.

I don't think Bernie the commie is gonna do as well this time as he did the last go-round.

The Naysayers Are Wrong. Bernie Sanders Is A Formidable 2020 Contender
Let’s review some of the attack lines that will be used against Bernie by his more dedicated Democratic partisan detractors, many of whom are in a state of blithering rage right now.
By Michael Tracey
February 19, 2019Bernie Sanders announced Tuesday that he will run for president. This should not come as a shock, considering the wheels have been in motion for such an announcement since he ended his previous campaign four years ago.
In a sense, the campaign never ended. Immediately upon his (tepid, but notable) endorsement of Hillary Clinton last time around, activists began planning for this day. ...
... What’s also funny is that the Democratic establishment’s overt attempts to placate Bernie—remember the famously awkward “Unity Tour†he mounted with Democratic National Committee (DNC) chairman Tom Perez in 2017?—have backfired spectacularly, at least if the aim was to get him to ride off into the sunset. Most Democratic chieftains will say complimentary things about him in public, but privately grouse that he has the temerity to run again after everything that was done to ingratiate him since the last campaign.
While the DNC machinery did conspire to eliminate him in 2016—still routinely complained about by some of his more ardent online supporters—that machinery has been weakened in the interim. The fearsome superdelegates have been stripped of some of their powers, and states like New York are moving toward liberalizing voting laws. (States where political machines are still able to muscle out competition gave Hillary a big advantage in 2016.)
Should he get the nomination, Bernie would be a more challenging opponent than most Republicans likely presume. They are accustomed to running against center-left Democrats who get accused of wanting socialism, but are not socialists. As an actual socialist, the playbook could be upended in Bernie’s case. ...

I can remember 1972, and that would have been outrageous to say even back then. You are right.... RNC needs to bookmark.

I cannot understand the mindset of those that follow this creep. His personal corruption, laziness and lack of ambition, and lack of experience in any real life endeavor are not the qualities one should want in a president.

Along with the outrageous 1972 quote, I hope the fact that he was able to muster $600K for a 3rd home (right after he conceded to HRC) does not go unnoticed.
