It looks like Asset Forfeiture is Big Business.
Would you, knowing assets had been allegedly forfeited because of something illegal, take the chance that those assets weren't spiked with something that would make them easy to confiscate again (along with the other assets of the new owner)?
There are plenty of places in a boat or car or home, for instance to hide enough illegal substances to take it again that bidders might not be aware of.
