A prominent Black Lives Matter leader in Boston and her husband have been charged with using a $6,000 grant to take at-risk youth to a Philadelphia retreat on themselves — for a getaway to Maryland, restaurants and shopping sprees, among other things.
Monica Cannon-Grant, 41, founder of the nonprofit Violence in Boston, and her husband,, Clark Grant, 38, were charged Tuesday in an 18-count federal indictment, including charges for wire fraud and making false statements to a mortgage lending business....

Even before there was a federal investigation, the walls were starting to close in on Monica Cannon-Grant, and she seems to have known it.
“Unemployment caught my ass!” she texted her husband, Clark Grant, in May of last year. “Asked me to provide documents by June unless I’ll have to pay it back.”
That was a reference to a letter threatening to claw back unemployment benefits both Cannon-Grant and her husband had received during the pandemic. In the US government’s telling, neither was unemployed at the time. ...

Look on the bright side, Monica Cannon-Grant — at least the feds didn’t videotape you stuffing marked $100 bills down your bra.
But other than the Dianne Wilkerson gotcha photograph, Tuesday’s indictment of the sticky-fingered Social Justice Warrior has everything.
As you read the 38 pages of charges, it’s hard to know who is more unspeakably corrupt — the race-hustling Monica, or the Boston establishment and their media stooges who swallowed her shameless hate speech hook, line and sinker. ...
