Based on pix I've seen of MOOOOCH-chelle, I think the word I added was missing in that sentence.

As to jet-setting, the 80s through 2020 set quite a contrast: Presidents Reagan, G. H. W. Bush, G. W. Bush and Trump "vacationed" on their own properties; the Clintons and Obamas jet-setted at taxpayer expense.

Okay...please bear with me here.

If boat/ships can have transponders (is that the right word?) that can provide the topography of the seabed, why isn't that tool available for helicopters to determine same for approaching terrain?

Thanks in advance.   :patriot:

I also find it strange, that Iran, like every other country on earth, wouldn't take better precautions with national leaders in Helcopter/Jet travel.....   Maintenance, pilot skills,  hardware, etc.  I'm 60/40 on this one around nefarious factors.

More fear mongering from American Thinker to get the rubes all fired up .  "Theyz want to take away yuuur caaaaar"

Seems to me it's just reporting the facts in this case. Surely some want to take away people's cars. How widespread that belief is I don't know. But it's out there.

Geez...all I did within the context of the thread was use a rib-eye as an example of basic meats being economically out-of-reach for the common man/voter.

@mystery-ak was kind to tell us Kroger's (which is not available in the Washington, D.C. region) was going to have them on sale.

Now two pages later we're still yapping about smoking and marinating meat.

Trump rigged popularity poll, refused to pay company after finishing 9th: Cohen
By Kyle Schnitzer

Donald Trump refused to pay a tech company that helped boost his position on a CNBC poll about the most famous businessmen in the last century because he only finished in ninth place, Michael Cohen testified.

"Mr. Trump’s name was on that list. And in the beginning of this poll, he was polling toward the very, very bottom and it upset him," Cohen testified.

Cohen said he called up Red Finch, a technology company, to assist in the CNBC poll to create an algorithm that would help Trump "rise, rise significantly in this poll." The scheme would have Red Finch acquire IP addresses to boost Trump's polling position.

Cohen said Trump gave him his permission to go ahead with Red Finch, but Trump ultimately finished ninth in the poll.

"He refused to make a payment," Cohen said about Trump, citing where Trump finished.

Red Finch was ultimately owed $50,000. Cohen paid the company $20,000 and pocketed the remaining $30,000 because Trump stiffed him on his holiday bonus, he testified.

@catfish57

So you've demonstrated  Pedo Joe can read political tea leaves.  WTF does that prove? (i.e. border policy too) He can just as easily reverse course (like this) come January 21, 2025.  I thought you were more intelligent than that.

Trollz gotta be trollz.

Iranian President Dead After Chopper Crash

My emphasis.

Re the second paragraph, different monster, same monstrousness.

Okay...please bear with me here.

Markle attended private schools during her elementary and high school years. She graduated from Northwestern with a BA in theater and international studies. After college she went Hollywood, though she did have to do survival jobs (not burger-flipping or barista or retail clerk) early in her career sometimes between acting gigs. She's basically a limousine liberal, but probably thinks she's woman-of-the-people.

Cherry wood or mesquite works nicely too.  I tend to favor mesquite.  It burns hot and I prefer the taste.

I must say I have never marinated a steak before cooking it over wood or charcoal. They do make charcoal with mesquite mixed in with it and that is what I mostly use. Otherwise it's cherry chips mixed in with charcoal.

I love the taste of mesquite or hickory... just can't get at it up in here. It's always a pleasure when my Kansas kin come up, as they can get at it... But I ain't seen nary a one in some years.

Don't do charcoal. Usually cook over pine wood. Smoke can be alder or apple mostly. It's  apple and cherry country up in here. But mostly Bing cherries. It takes sour cherry to make good smoke. That's harder to find. Not native. Apple wood is plentiful. Choke cherry is plentiful, and that ain't bad.
