March. 22 (UPI) -- The E*Trade talking baby has put in his two-weeks notice and is quitting his job as spokesman for the online trading company.
The company put an end to the series of commercials featuring the computer-generated talking baby after six years.
The move came with the debut of E*Trade's latest commercial featuring the baby Thursday. The baby is upstaged by its new sidekick singing cat. Not able to stand it anymore, the baby throws his smartphone at the camera and says he's through.
E*Trade Chief Marketing Officer Liza Landsman said the company will be launching a new online marketing campaign.
