President Trump's approval rating has fallen to 37 percent -- the lowest of his fledgling presidency, according to Gallup. His disapproval rating rose correspondingly, hitting 58 percent.
At this point in his first term, President Obama's approval rating was hovering in the low 60s, while President George W. Bush's was in the mid-50s. (Obama's approval rating would later sink to a low of 40 percent, while Bush bottomed out at 25 percent.)
In fact, Trump's current approval rating is lower than any other commander-in-chief at this point in his first term since Gallup started tracking the issue in 1945, the year Harry Truman took office.

Especially since..... with the exception of the TrumpCare bill.... most of what Trump has done so far meets with the full approval of those that voted him into office.
But get used to it. This is exactly the kind of crap they pulled on Bush for eight friggin years. Fake news, fake approval polls, fake "memos" and ""proof"" of wrongdoing, etc. I remember it only too well.

His numbers fell after the wiretap claims. He needs to get them over 50% or there's a decent chance Pelosi will have the gavel in 2019. The Dems got smoked in the midterms when Obama's numbers were in this range.

Trump IS taking the conservative measures that "conservatives" have asked for over decades.
In fact Trump's budget submittal is MORE conservative than Reagan's.
