2020 Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden screwed up the Pledge of Allegiance Monday during a campaign speech in Wisconsin.
“I pledge allegiance to the United States of America, one nation, indivisible, under God, for real,†Biden said.
Here is the accurate text of the pledge:
I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

(Gateway Pundit) – Joe Biden bungled the Pledge of Allegiance during his Wisconsin speech on Monday.
77-year-old Biden delivered a doom and gloom speech on Covid from Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
His speech started off awkward because his mask was on backwards.
Then this happened…
Biden botched the Pledge of Allegiance.
“I pledge allegiance to the United States of America. One nation, indivisible, under God, for real,†said Biden.

A teleprompter needed for the Pledge of Allegiance??!!! And perhaps the teleprompter didn't tell him that his mask was on incorrectly. Is there a "live" teleprompter; a staffer can prompt him while he's being prompted?! Good grief!

Joe Biden went back into the basement before 10 AM. No, I’m not kidding. He called a lid just before 9:30 AM. We’re 42 days away from Election Day. We have a super intense Supreme Court fight brewing. And Joe decided to retreat into his basement. Is he too tired? Did he need some Ensure? What is going on? This should be a moment he should seize. Granted, I’m glad he’s not—but for a candidate who really isn’t stoking enthusiasm from Democrats, this could be a way to gin up support. Both sides will be animated, but all he does is deliver a platitudinous speech in Philadelphia during an Eagles home game over the weekend. The point is no one watched it, Joe. ...

It is starting to look like that "Lid" might be one to a coffin. His Campaign is DOA, and so is he. Have we ever elected a dead president. Might be a 1st. It is 2020 after all.

Based on that calendar above, it looks like Joe Clueless is functional less than 50% of the time. How long before that 50% becomes 90%? One or two years? No more. The man is not fit to run for POTUS, and anyone that votes for the fool is not fit to be eligible to vote. LITERALLY!

A pool of reporters is assigned to the President and every four years Presidential nominees. When the President's staff or the nominee's staff places a lid on the day it signals all activities from the President (or nominee) for the remainder of the day are over ... and the pool is free to go.
The "lid" simply means the news day is closed -- and it's been used for more than a decade that I'm aware of.
What's brought this practice to the forefront is how unusual it is to place a lid on the news day in the morning. The Biden fools would have been better off just letting the pool reporters wait. :laugh:

As shown on the calendar I posted above, Joe has even had three straight "lid" days on occasion. This is bizarre for a presidential candidate - or any candidate.
