The people of New York are fed-up with Democrat leadership
At about 1 am on Saturday morning, the citizens of new york made their displeasure known. A massive mural with the words, “F**k Cuomo and de Blasio†was painted before an annual block party for small business owners.
If this is anything to go by, the business owners of New York have had enough of the Cities leadership, according to the attendees of the party, the mural was a big hit, crowds cheered, and apparently even the cops had a chuckle. The Department of Transportation covered the street art in black less than 24 hours later around 10 p.m. Saturday.
The cities business owners, big and small, have made their disapproval of the cities handling of the COVID – 19 crisis and the economic fallout known. Could we perhaps be witnessing a shift in the New York political landscape?

Maybe so, but I'll bet they elect another democrat administration after de Blasio leaves office. Just because they hate this administration doesn't mean they are giving up on the party.:pondering:

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY, is pressuring New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo to raise taxes for her socialist wishlist, Fox Business reported.
The state’s debt is billions of dollars-deep due to major COVID expenses and loss of tax-revenue due to shutdowns.
Cuomo has resisted AOC’s pleas, fearing that high taxes as well as COVID restrictions will continue to drive the wealthy away and ruin the city’s chances of paying off its COVID-related debts. ...
“I’m calling on Mayor de Blasio and Gov. Cuomo to raise revenue to fund universal child-care programs, significantly increase staffing at schools and fund the infrastructure improvements, including ventilation, that our school buildings need to be safe,†Ocasio-Cortez told the Post on Wednesday. ...

NYC is becoming much less powerful in term of industry, business, and population.
If the evacuation of people continues as it is now NYC will become a ghost town over the next few years.
NYC is positioned to become the next Detroit, only X10.
