Pentagon Silent After Refusing Permit for Annual POW-MIA Motorcycle Ride

Kyle Morris 6 May 2021

The Pentagon has blamed coronavirus health concerns for the rejection of a permit for the Rolling to Remember motorcycle ride to honor POW/MIA veterans, according to event organizers.

The event, formerly known as Rolling Thunder, is being organized by AMVETS and is held annually each Memorial Day in Washington, DC. This year, organizers expect to draw in an estimated 50,000 visitors who want to pay tribute to veterans.

Joe Chenelly, the national executive director of AMVETS, spoke to Breitbart News about the permit rejection and said the permit was applied for last May, amid the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

Chenelly said once AMVETS applied for the permit, the Pentagon “wouldn’t communicate with us” and, to this day, “still haven’t really communicated with us.”

In early March, Chenelly said the Pentagon approved the permit, but he was wary of the approval because there were no meetings that typically take place in order to get safety protocols in place. Upon calling the permit office, Chenelly said the permit was confirmed and he was told to contact Pentagon police to work on conducting a meeting “in a few weeks.”

“I called the Pentagon police and said, ‘let’s work together,’ and for eight days we did that,” Chenelly said, noting that he had already began planning for other sites in fear that the Pentagon would back out over COVID-19 concerns.

“Once we got confirmed for the permit … we stopped working with them and then eight days later the Pentagon calls and says, ‘Sorry, we made a mistake, we shouldn’t have sent that to you. You don’t have the permit. We will tell you when we make a decision,'” Chenelly said, paraphrasing remarks from the Pentagon.

Upon asking who the “decision makers are” so meetings could be arranged, Chenelly said he received no response, even after formulating a well-thought-out safety plan regarding the coronavirus.

Things are escalating to being beyond ridiculous and I see a deliberate trend to erase tradition and history and Joe is party to all of this.

So far,  the National Day of Prayer has been cancelled, permits so far have been refused for the 4th of July Mt. Rushmore celebration and now the Annual POW-MIA motorcyle ride.  All with b.s. excuse of the pandemic?

Meanwhile, no permits have been issued for the burning of our cities and destroying historical monuments. They are perfectly free to do so without repercussions.

Anyone see anything wrong with this picture?? Why the hell do we need permits to pray, celebrate the fourth of July and honor veterans?  For what reason?? Police escorts? Riot protection?

Biden is afraid.  Very afraid.

Highly doubtful at this point in time he even realizes what's going on.  He does whatever Mama Jill tells him to do.  She has her marching orders.

The thoroughly curious can check the daily new cases numbers for MD, VA, and DC, as I did several days ago, https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/ . There is no surge or bump of Covid going on in those states or DC. The LIEden Administration is lying. This was a purely political act.

"Pentagon Silent After Refusing Permit for Annual POW-MIA Motorcycle Ride"

This won't be coming back while the DCP is in power. So long as harris-biden are in office, they control the Pentagon.

That will last at least until 2025 at the earliest, regardless of who wins Congress next year.

(DCP = democrat-communist party)

Nor will the national day of prayer and other patriotic celebrations.

I'll refrain from further comment for various reasons.  It's becoming difficult to remain half way civil towards our current administration. I think we all need to remember, Big Brother is lurking.

I'm sure in some puppet master's mind , these riders are "white, conservative, home grown terrorist's" who will attack the Capitol again.  And the ones who aren't white are not smart enough to "see the danger" they are in.  Anyway, that's a line of "reasoning" that will most likely come out at some point. :3:
