President Donald Trump will sign the $1.3 trillion spending bill he previously threatened to veto, two sources tell CNN.
Trump plans to speak at the White House at 1 p.m. ET. The White House website describes the event as a "bill signing."...

Must have. It got TOS over the line.... ^-^

So much for 'eliminating 8 Trillion in debt in 4 years' promise. So far, he's increased debt by close to 2 Trillion.

He has the Bill stacked on a desk and the black folder which he uses when he signs a Bill next to a microphone...
-
So he outlines the problems then signs it anyway. (in the name of security even though military is not part of Continuing Resolutions- they are a separate bill- annual bill signed December 12th - http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/12/12/donald-trump-signs-military-funding-bill-armed-forces-must-perfecto/ (http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/12/12/donald-trump-signs-military-funding-bill-armed-forces-must-perfecto/) ).

The line-item veto is a no-go - been ruled unconstitutional in the past. Ending the 60 vote rule on legislation also a no-go. McConnell uninterested in turning Senate into House on eve of uncertain, possible Dem wave election.

President Trump assures us he will never again sign a bill like the $1.3T omnibus spending package hours after he told us he wouldn't sign this one but did anyway. It's almost amusing at this point.

All he is talking about is Defense...tell us what else is in the Bill..like funding PP...

I don't know about that. but this isn't going to help with the reluctant GOP voters.

They had weeks, months to work on this Bill and it comes down to the last few hours..there is no excuse for this.

I wish people would actually read The Art of the Deal instead of just quoting the title. It is, for lack of a better term, used car salesmen tactics, glitz, and show only. He even brags about lying to get deals done.
I think in this case, he doesn't think he is 'negotiating' with Congress over things, he seems to be acting like he is negotiating with the public over his popularity. He hasn't seemed to have a hand in any of the hard work around these bills.

THURMONT, Md. — President Donald Trump says he’s done campaigning for insurgents challenging incumbent Republican members of Congress.
Trump told reporters after meeting GOP House and Senate leaders at Camp David on Saturday that he’s planning a robust schedule of campaigning for the 2018 midterm elections and that includes involvement in the Republican primaries. He’ll campaign for incumbents, he said, and “anybody else that has my kind of thinking.â€

Yep, in a nutshell, it says, basically "tell the people what they want to hear".
Well that should scare you because all of DC thinks that run away spending is what people want to hear from looking at the budget. There is no other way to look at it.

Trump got what he wanted when he got your vote. He doesn't need it anymore. It was simply a targeted sales pitch to take advantage of the rage at Obama's legacy. He knew he hit gold when he started talking about illegal immigration and people perked up to listen in the primary - never mind that it contradicted what he said 4 years earlier.
Now he's won the most exclusive prize of them all, being in the history books as the 45th President of the United States. The last stop for a man who has "everything". There's no further incentives to offer to motivate him to fulfill his promises.
Too late to rethink it now.

why though?
You guys spend 3x as mch as most nations, and hundreds of billions goes on just administration, "losing it" or failed projects. The military shouldn't have a blank check. It seems your politicians use it as a bullet point and your generals don't even think they need that much!
For private comapanies it seems like the biggest welfare programs going!
-
Well Donny is about to find out about the lessons from 30 years ago when a dude said "Read my lips.....".

That's going to have to be an elephant in the room we will have to face some day.
Yes, National Defense is and will be the #1 priority of the federal government. But even at the founding they knew this could get out of hand which is why they greatly limited budgeting for military action to have set timeframes.
There is a point where even the military will need to be told they need to become efficient. There is no reason, as technology progresses and everything else becomes cheaper and better, that military spending needs to continue to skyrocket and it is verboten to even discuss efficiencies in that.
-
That's assuming Trump really cares.
I agree. I'm not sure that Trump is committed to a second term in office. Guys like him go after what they want with great skill and enthusiasm. But they get bored easily. Once they achieve a goal, it becomes passe' and devalued to them. "Been there, done that, and I even bought the tee shirt."
-
Maybe he should be spending less time on Twitter and more time taking this job seriously he would had the wall funded.
He is too busy 'art of the dealing' with the public over his brand image.
-
Amen
One and done...Hell, he might even not get one done.
I don't know. Donny is letting the GOP spend all the money they ever dreamed of. They get to be the Rats they always wanted to be. They will circle the wagons against impeachment so they get to keep doing these budgets.

Reagan's mistake, which Trump just repeated was giving the Rats control of domestic agenda in
exchange for military might. Rats win Trump loses, which nation is going to invade us? Why do we
need a massive military? How about we mind our own damn business.

Exactly. Me too. When I buy a bottle of whiskey, that is a quick fix. Beer on the other hand is more of a long term thing with a much more mellow buzz. When I feel like getting drunk, I drink whiskey. When I want to chill out and mellow the weekend I drink beer. Like you said, I can't really drink enough beer quickly enough to 'get drunk' from it. It's too heavy. But whiskey sends me to the moon.

I really don't understand what our goals are in Afghanistan. We are not going to change Muslim culture there and that is the root of the problem.
Immediately after 9/11/2001 I recall a goal to prevent the place from harboring terrorists.
But since then, presidents of both parties have allowed many muslim terrorists to immigrate into our country.
And while the FBI had some of them "on their radar," terror events have continued.
Pakistan has far more overall power nd resources, than Afghanistan.
-
It's all I can do to say to the most ardent Trump supporters, "I told you so."
But my guess is that, for many of his fans, by tomorrow, all will be forgiven.

Basically it allows government to add you to the 'Not Allowed to Buy Or Possess" without any recourse or due process.
Kinda like finding yourself on a no-fly list. You don't know why you were added, just that you were and there's no getting yourself off of it. Unless you are in Congress.

Exactly.
For some reason, I don't seem to have that issue with drinking beer slowly.....

...and we don't have to go all that far back in time to find when he held those views.
We hoped he'd changed and feared he wouldn't.
Well said.
It's pretty devastating to get to this point where we have the House, Senate and Presidency and the Rats get everything they want and we only get military spending.
obamacare still exists and can be resurrected when the Rats win the executive again.
Immigration is not being reformed. The wall is not being built. Chain migration and the lottery are not being ended.

Yes. Trump codified it into a catchy phrase as he is wont to do:
"Seize the guns first, due process later".

I guess the buck never gets to Trump's desk either.
I thought he was this miraculous 'deal-maker' that would make great deals for the American people???

We all know this was Trump's moment to stand tall and tell DC "NO!", but he didn't and now he's going to be looked at and treated like an empty suit. It sure looks that way doesn't it.
I'm so disgusted. We always have a minority within the party that seem to be consistent conservatives but we never can get a solid majority. Open borders, identity politics, and govt interference in all parts of our lives is going to doom the Republic. The Rats are going to win big in Nov and even if they don't spend all their time trying to impeach Trump for something you can dare well bet that the only things that will get done will be those things that advance socialism.

If Trump gets credit for the tax cuts, that he had nothing to do with other than sign- he wasn't part of the negotiation process, why doesn't he get blame for this?
The other few things he 'gets credit for' in many ways are either symbolic or just shifting the deck chairs. Many of the regulations he supposedly repealed in reality he just centralized in the Executive Branch (giving his branch more power).
He has been a tried and true populist all the way.

If he hadn't been spending so much time on Twitter getting into a wizzing match with Joe Biden, among others, and maybe made some effort to actually sit down and negotiate a real budget, perhaps he would have gotten much of what he said he wanted. That he didn't knuckle down and negotiate a better deal tells me he really doesn't want to fix the illegal immigration problem. In fact, he has no intention of keeping any of his promises. He can blame congress all he wants, but the truth is, he is just like them -- another liar and thief.

I found it odd that he bragged about paying politicians off with donations, on both sides of the aisle, but yet he was going to "drain the swamp".
He is now, and always has been, part of that swamp.
FYI, the first time I heard the phrase "drain the swamp", was from Nancy Pelosi a feww years back.

I have no sympathy. He voted for the creatures that did this because despite all his 'talk' of Conservative principles' - he is stuck on practicing insanity within a thoroughly corrupted party and system. The idea of going outside the corruption is a dead-end to him. He thinks you can work from within the corruption, even when the rules are changed to make that an impossibility.
So - he can rage against the dying of the light all he likes. He helped put them there and then played cheerleader because Trump drove the Leftist media nuts.
Levin is gonna have another massive coronary when he sees Trump go and do the same schtick he did for Schumer, Clinton and DeBlasio in NY on a federal level from now on.

I disagree with you on this. I think it was a responsible, defensible and respectable position to vote against Hillary Clinton. That's what he and many others did. The other options were not voting or voting for someone who had no chance of beating Clinton. So, just stop with that.

4) Negotiations leading to the omnibus — including the immigration provisions and the lack thereof — have been going on for more than six months.
Trump’s back-and-forth on the 2,232-page omnibus at the last minute might create the impression that Congress — the Congress controlled by his own party — has blindsided him with this huge bill and its unsatisfying immigration provisions.
In fact, it’s the product of negotiations that have been going on since last summer, when it became obvious that the regular appropriations process would, as has become customary, fail to get the job done. Congress has passed, and Trump has signed, five stopgap spending bills during these negotiations, in which the White House has been involved at every single step. Acting surprised about the omnibus’s content or process now is very weird if not blatantly dishonest.

Yes, but they're operating on the assumption Trump was engaged and listening to what the legislative staff was reporting back to him.

I'm sorry, but every election is framed that way. You will be forever locked into voting for the lesser evil via fear and continue to get what you've been getting if you don't get off the plantation. There is no alternative.

That's fine. Disagree all you like.
I personally have no respect for, use for, regard for, or will listen to those who preach principles (mostly to make money selling themselves), and then illustrate they will abandon those same principles they paid lip service to for political expedience and pragmatism while becoming promoters of apostasy themselves.
One thing I have learned time and again - is that is the ignorant, hopeful fool of blind faith who thinks that an apostate church can be saved to promote the foundations it has openly discarded.
And that maxim holds true for apostate political beliefs and parties as well.
-
‘At least it wasn’t Hillary’ has become the automatic response to anything Trump does contrary to what people expected. It’s similar to the ‘and also with you’ collective response to ‘peace be with you’ in church. It’s also delivered with the same lack of enthusiasm and sincerity.
-
"At least it wasn't Hillary" is a pretty low bar.
-
I can’t remember who posted this yesterday: This is what you get when you vote for the lesser of two evils over and over again. Bush v. Manbearpig, Bush v. John Effing, Mittens v. Obama, Juan v. Obama, Orange v. Cankles.
-
Yes, but we didn't get what many of us voted against.
‘At least it wasn’t Hillary’ has become the automatic response to anything Trump does contrary to what people expected.
I doubt there would be any real-discernible difference in the fruits. I fully expect Trump to go full-blown NYC Liberal Democrat as he has been his whole life by making deals as he has been with Schumer and Pelosi, given that apparently the Democrats actually still control the entirety of government with a willingness for the GOP to commit suicide because it will serve a greater purpose in our fundamental transformation.
As to what they say they voted against - sadly, that has been pretty much the only motivation to get anyone to the polls in the GOP anymore. To vote AGAINST the Democrat. Not because we believe in the character and ideas of a candidate to promote and instill a Conservative agenda, no - rather we must vote for the R to stop the D.
When you keep voting for the lesser of two evils, you will eventually end up with a choice between choosing a Hitler or a Stalin, followed shortly by the intimidations of the party faithful that if you do not vote for Stalin, you will be responsible for the deaths of 6 million Jews. Or vice-versa depending on which form of Collectivist Statism they prefer to self-identify with.
It's past time to be done and finished with cognitive dissonance while practicing insanity with the Republican party.
-
Good grief. I'm seeing why some of the ETs are so belligerent and obnoxious when responding to you NTs. OK, I got it - yours is the only position with any merit and everybody who doesn't accept that is dead wrong and unethical to boot.

Yeah, that's kind of what I'm saying though. You vote against someone and you get what you get. I voted *for* someone this last time. The mess we're in is pretty much because people just voted against someone that was more inferior.

Talk about cognitive dissonance! That's not an honest argument. Clinton is a ideological leftist with all the necessary affiliations and networks to have done much worse than Trump has so far. Just as many of us predicted how Trump would act if given the opportunity based on his history, we can predict how Clinton would have (and has) acted, given the opportunity.
You may base your decision to not vote against her on your idea of integrity, but I think unleashing her on the nation and world would have been much worse than the chaotic clown we have in there now.

Depends what state you vote in, don't it? I understand, again, what you're getting in, but I'm done buying into that because I see where it's gotten us. It'll be a painful road, but seems we're halfway down that road anyway.

The difference is, Clinton we could oppose at every step. The Democrats would have owned all that she did. She would have faced an opposing congress.
Now the GOP owns what has been done. The GOP owns the extreme debt spending. The GOP owns Obamacare for tinkering with it instead of getting rid of it. The GOP owns tariffs. The GOP owns illegal immigration w/o a wall. The GOP owns no longer having any say on family values dare they be rightfully called hypocrites.
The short term gain of keeping Hillary out of office will likely have much higher long term cost due to who was chosen, Trump. Trump is poisoning the GOP well, perhaps for good.

Hard to say for sure. I think by the time Trump's term is up, the GOP is going to be hiding.
Hamilton: "If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures."
There's some wisdom there that some are going to have to learn the hard way.

Trump didn't run as a fiscal conservative, he ran as a populist, there were no small government promises as with Rand Paul. Almost half of eligible voters didn't. People get what they voted for. There was no deception about Trump, he even said in his campaign, he was going to build some super-infrastructure.
-
You may base your decision to not vote against her on your idea of integrity, but I think unleashing her on the nation and world would have been much worse than the chaotic clown we have in there now.
Short-term perhaps that has some merit.
Long term, the Conservative/limited government ideal and brand will have been rendered totally irrelevant and buried by it's own party and leader.
Voting AGAINST the other guy and party because "we lose the country if they win" is the campaign slogan for the GOP going on three decades plus.
It's tired, boring and insulting given the fruits that have been harvested as a result of doing just that.
Yesterday the choice was between a treasonous wannabe corrupt tyrant and a juvenile reality TV show personality. Tomorrow your choice will be between a Hitler or a Stalin if voting to stop the other guy is the sum total of where we have arrived.
As DB adroitly noted:
The short term gain of keeping Hillary out of office will likely have much higher long term cost due to who was chosen...

Funny, because he had presented himself as such and had a lot of people fooled into thinking he was fiscally conservative.
Mr. Trump is a rock star for Republicans, but he’s never been easily categorized.
So I asked him straight out if he considers himself a member of the Tea Party.
“I certainly seem to be in a sense. They like me, and I like them. And we have very much the same principles,†Mr. Trump answered. “When I speak to the Tea Party, they have the biggest crowd of anybody.â€
https://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/mar/7/donald-trump-says-hes-a-tea-party-member/ (https://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/mar/7/donald-trump-says-hes-a-tea-party-member/)
Nevertheless, Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform, believes that Donald Trump is a fiscal conservative: in fact, Norquist believes Trump has the potential to surpass even Ronald Reagan and become the most fiscally conservative president in modern history.
http://time.com/4354389/grover-norquist-donald-trump-fiscal-conservative/ (http://time.com/4354389/grover-norquist-donald-trump-fiscal-conservative/)
Mr. Trump, you've heard the argument from many of the candidates on this stage that you're not a true conservative. Tell the voters watching tonight why you are.
Well, I think I am, and to me, I view the word conservative as a derivative of the word “conserve.†We want to conserve our money. We want to conserve our wealth. We want to conserve. We want to be smart. We want to be smart where we go, where we spend, how we spend. We want to conserve our country. We want to save our country. And we have people that have no idea how to do that, and they are not doing it, and it's a very important word and it's something I believe in very, very strongly.
*************************
So is Trump a true conservative? He would transfer power back from the federal government to the states. He would cut the federal government’s budget. He would enforce immigration laws. He would combat lawlessness due to immigration. And he would balance trade. His proposals indicate that he is indeed a true political conservative.

https://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/mar/7/donald-trump-says-hes-a-tea-party-member/ (https://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/mar/7/donald-trump-says-hes-a-tea-party-member/)
Nevertheless, Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform, believes that Donald Trump is a fiscal conservative: in fact, Norquist believes Trump has the potential to surpass even Ronald Reagan and become the most fiscally conservative president in modern history.

I don't think so. From what I'm reading out there, the rabid Trump faithful are doubling down on the stupidity this evening. Going so far as to suggest this budget deal is the most conservative thing Trump could get from both parties who hate him.
Oh and the gun control and the banning of bump stocks and FixNICS is also getting much praise out there in Trumpland.
Truly, Trump could shoot someone in the middle of 5th Avenue...

What a disgrace trump is, or more importantly the people who voted for such a an incompetent , left idiot in.
And no it wasn't trump vs Clinton. I'm talking about even before that.
You had fine and conservative people like rand Paul and ted Cruz, yet you chose the billionaire from New York that was born in the swamp. Everything he is doing now, is to bennifitt his dynasty afterwords.

And I might be drunk right now off a bottl of vodka while it is raining again in sunny old England , but I just fell like you guys have pissed a trick when it comes to rand Paul. The guy seems like the most competent and conservative politician currently.
Trump is the the opposite , loves debt, hates marriage and Christian values, a billionaire who by all accounts doesn't give a crap about working people. Why?

To be honest mate I am one of a few who still thinks America is the greatest nation on earth. I respect so much about you, your history and what you have become.
Which is why it's sad to see this situation.
The democrats where a complete joke when they where in power, sadly on the world stage trump is making it worse!
And I fear trump is gonna make the fantastic conservative people be out of power for many years to come . That is what I fear

Yeah, drunk was my first guess. Thanks for the confirmation.
You are 6 hours ahead of me, so give me time.
I'll get there, eventually.
7 million people who voted for Obama, also voted for Trump.
They chased the bright and shiny object, chance for hope and change, or MAGA.
It put him over the top.
Some people just don't take politics as seriously as others, and this is the kind of results you can expect.
Some expect saviors, rather than doing the heavy lifting.

Fair or not, Paul was still carrying some baggage from his father in the 2016 primary.

And again I'm drunk FYI  but again it seems like republicans (not the true ones) are going against all the values I always thought you guys held high.
For me you was the party of Christian values , respectable demeanour, Russia was the enemy (and it still is by the way!!), strong family values, against debt and conservative policies.
But this president goes against everything about this :crying: and it was obvious from the start .
This was a guy who used to party with the Hillary and the rapist all the time!

its a damn shame as well, because being s conservative is the simplest form of governing :(
So so many problems would go away if people and govement would just STFU and let people and business be
Instead you have govements willing race wars, foreign wars, finance wars etc and want it! F*** off bit govement and things will correct itself

He spelled it wrong. He meant "Limey"....a nickname for Brits... kinda like the Brits call us Yanks.
Limey
Limey is a predominantly North American slang nickname for the British people, originally referring to their sailors. The term is thought to have originated in the 1850s as lime-juicer, later shortened to "limey", and originally used as a derogatory word for sailors in the British Royal Navy. Since the beginning of the 19th century it had been the practice of the Royal Navy of adding lemon juice to the sailors' daily ration of grog. The vitamin C in citrus fruits prevented scurvy, and helped to make these sailors some of the healthiest of the time. Back then "lemon" and "lime" were used interchangeably to refer to citrus fruits. Initially, lemon juice was used as the additive to grog on the Royal Navy ships, but was later switched to limes, not realizing that limes did not contain sufficient Vitamin C to prevent the disease.

Unfortunately, it's one of the hardest ways to get elected. People love to be promised 'free' stuff. Worse yet, politicians enjoy the power and control doling it out provides.

nah I think the term these days is just being called British (according the left :police:)
Oh cool! Partly the reason why I hold my conservative values is my dad was part of the para regiment and often trained with American guys. We are a very similar people. Different problems but born of Christian values we shouldn't forget.
Some people actually in my country hate Churchill!! (People on the left) because he said a few racist (but truthful things)
The guy looking back on it was the most intelligent guy in the last few hundred years.
He spotted hitler, Russia, and the muslims needed destroying. Sadly no one listened :(

8:00 pm and on beer number 4.
Sadly, one of the things that, In my opinion, we have lost in some segments of American society, is that rugged individualism.
We are in charge of our own destiny, endowed by our Creator.
Too many of us, both here and abroad, think someone out there should fix things, if only we could just find that person.
We should be telling out politicians what they should be doing, instead of the other way around.

sadly politicians in most countries hold so much power now that you succeed or fail at their whim.
I come from a country where at a time no matter how old you was or what you did in school, you could succeed. That govement got too much involved, forced people into university (and paying so much to go to it) and without it you have no hope.
I failed at school, went to Australia, they are more free and without school qualifications (because of family troubles) I managed to get an apprenticeship, gain qualifications and become a design engineer.
That is a sign for me govement is bad and god knows how many people who are so so intelligent and bright are f*** over by govement policies
Oh and just beer number 4 at 8! Weak sauce mate  I was on my 4th at 4 today hah

Because 5 people got hit and died from drunk people....not Not at all to do with the real estate being Cheap as ( big developers where like sharks around it ) that was on offer and the states premier being in their pocket.........funny enough he is now has a nice job in that sector.
Politicians are scum
It is very very very rare a politician, wants to become a politician to help their nation .
In the uk and Australia u haven't seen that yet, in America it's even worse.
In the uk and Australia, the state pays for the elections so business doesn't (publicly) doesn't get involved. It's s billion dollar business for you guys.
I don't know how politicians get Away with it in the us
You get nothing for nothing is what my dad says, it is legalised pay offs!

President Trump assures us he will never again sign a bill like the $1.3T omnibus spending package hours after he told us he wouldn't sign this one but did anyway. It's almost amusing at this point.
You are so right. Enough with people criticizing us for not supporting the President. How can you support someone that says one thing and does another? The other day I was getting ready to give praise to him because he said he wasn't going to sign anything with funding for the tunnel under the Hudson River. Liar! His entire presidency has been say one thing do another. Especially with immigration.

Exactly. Out of control spending that all our children will be responsible for. Sen. Bob Corker tweeted that also and he is right.
Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., also egged Trump on to a veto. "Please do, Mr. President," he tweeted. "I am just down the street and will bring you a pen. The spending levels without any offsets are grotesque, throwing all of our children under the bus. Totally irresponsible."
I read that Paul Ryan was pushing Trump to sign.

The Democrats were in firm support of this bill, they had plenty of votes. Cruz' vote was never "needed" to pass, at any stage.

This!

So he outlines the problems then signs it anyway.
He learned that from James Comey.

@Stevensr123 there is one thing you are missing here, Cruz is in 'full campaign mode' now, unlike Paul. The GOP is the vehicle that keeps Cruz in the US Senate, currently. I hope and Pray that he and a few other Conservatives bolt into an already established 3rd Party after the midterms.

Rush..I'm not liking this...*I feel like I just saw Trump go back up the escalator*
Too f'n bad you got duped El Rushbo. You are complicit by helping him getting elected.

Dutch, German...what's the difference? :pondering:
Whoa, I'm going to sic the relatives on you! I made the mistake one time of saying I could read Dutch because it was similar to German. I was very firmly corrected: Dutch is nothing like German.
-
Hannity..*Republican Party is dead!*
Hannity..... you deserve as much scorn as Limbaugh. Without y'alls sell out of conservative principles to this Orange Trojan horse. It's your own damn fault. #Punditfool

This is starting to bother me @InHeavenThereIsNoBeer, this #nevercorbe $hit, basically, I'm scared it will catch on.
Do I need to renew my Costco membership and stock up on Aluminum Foil?

Why I Will Not Turn On President Trump
by Rush Limbaugh - Mar 7,2018

My first reaction to the title was 'because you're not a porn star or playmate.'

He knows we have a bicameral legislature...Lords and Commons.
-
@XenaLee
Beer, hell. I have some Crown Royal in the freezer with my name on it... and I plan to stake my claim tonite (fair warning to any sensitive forum types tonight...lolol).
@Wingnut
Had a friend who would always say this or that or someone drove him to the bottle. I'd say, "Willie Joe, you've always drank". His reply was, "Yeah, but from cans!"
@libertybele
Yes, God help us! Eminent economic collapse in the near future. Beer? I'm sure there's got to be a scotch & soda around with my name on it.
Sounds like everyone is going for the hard stuff.
Me? I'll stick with beer.
Now, how many beers could be an entirely different story....
No booze here. Instead, I immediately went out and bought 6 pairs of shoes. I helped the economy and soothed my outrage. Win - win.
-
LOL. I can't wait to tune in. My radio will probably explode just like my brain did when I heard that presser full of insanity.
At least Levin called it right in 2016. I expect full frontal "I told you so" on his upcoming shows.
-

LOL! No, it's not. I got a crash course in Dutch folks when a Dutch company bought mine. :nometalk:

Keep pushing @corbe.

Did you manufacture paint or wooden shoes?
-
Hannity..*Republican Party is dead!*
Sean, you're part of the problem. You couldn't recognize that Trump was a FAKE REPUBLICAN.
-
Keep pushing @corbe.
That magic photoshop bra is doing all the pushing.

Afraid so. That explains a lot, doesn't it?

Sean, you're part of the problem. You couldn't recognize that Trump was a FAKE REPUBLICAN.
Trump ran on that though? Surely the problem is
1. Trump is bad
2. The republicans are bad as well.
Democrats are scumbags, but they are what they are .
Republicans are even worse because they portray themselves as less debt ,less govement etc but they do everything opposit .
-
Oh, here come the klompen jokes.
I prefer klompen in the garden... Jussayin...
Grew up eating gehakt and maus :)
-

Maybe some GMTA... Though redneck explains it better
-
Rush is, kind of, saying the same thing.
It is as if neither one of them have ever heard of the veto.
Curious......
They have to save face. They peddled this guy to their audiences with great gusto. Both have lost credibility with me.

Oh, here come the klompen jokes.
That's OK - I always get IKEA jokes.....and yes, I put them together myself.

I'm just so burnt out on Peppermint and Hot Damn, I've developed a taste for Spearmint Snapps the last couple of years and the DeKuyper Brand is the only one my local Spec's carries. My Xanax are still Peppermint flavored.
-
The only thing to do at this point is write off 2016 as a casualty loss, and vote for better candidates going forward. We have the roll call for this monstrosity. Every one of the ayes should be primaried (including the President) or presented with a third party challenge if that does not work. This is who they are - they cannot be fixed.

I got royally blasted on peppermint schnapps while eating pickled pigs feet from a jug on the bar... Never.Ever.Again.
I'll stick to PBRs and the occasional pull from the jug. And yes, I would rather go blind.

Did you manufacture paint or wooden shoes?
Neither. Dikes.

Oh, so you got some of those melt-in-your-mouth kind....

Don't put your finger in one.

Me too on the Schnapps. It gave me the wisdom to be much more careful when the Ouzo came around after I went to college.
-
My Schnapps habit has had a tremendous detrimental effect on my life, directly contributing to stupid decisions like sleeping with Playboy Bunnies and P0rn Stars, in my dreams, where it's safe and the Preachers don't have to issue Mulligans.

My mouth tasted like all manner of creatures, great and small, had a party in it, and made it their mausoleum by the next morning.

That's really rich from the guy who worshipped at Trumps feet. Practically force fed Trump 24/7. Thanks Shawn.

All I gotta say is this:
He needs to spend lest time tweeting about whatever, and more time being President. Also stop this I'm going to veto the bill and then sign it after threatening to veto the damn bill.

@Chosen Daughter
'Says' that she's never really watched his show or listened, but rather validates her bias on what the most ardent NT's POV might be.
....which is anybody who defends the President 24/7 has no street cred...so why bother?
-
Can't we go back to talking about @corbe's unhealthy obsession with Spearmint Schnapps (that's made in Netherlands)?
-
I used it for Mouthwash this morning, but didn't spit it out after gargling. Gonna be a Good Day, I can tell already.

So when your argument wears thin, you resort to being the spelling and grammar police huh? :silly:

We could 'forgive' her if she spelled his last name wrong...but any self-respecting Conservative or Libertarian knows it's not 'Shawn'.
