California / Re: California’s Workers Now Want $30 Minimum Wage
« Last post by roamer_1 on Today at 03:28:41 am »
Or that prices went up? I tell you what, if the morons in California ever make that happen and there is nothing that will keep me in this state once my mother passes...no matter what my wife says about not leaving our kids and grandkids because there won't be any choice, it'll be leave or live in the car and circle starvation.

Best be gitting while the gitting is good... Bring your mamma and drag your kids out by the lip... Your grands and great-grands will talk of you in reverent tones as the great Moses of your family - As my whole clan does about my dad. Or Lot... Imagine standing in the mountains afar off overlooking the burning rising up over the cities of the plain...

Or imagine trying to sell your real estate after the fact in Sodom or Gomorrah...

The deliberate targeting of civilians in the 1940s was an act of desperation, and should not be used to justify total war in Gaza or elsewhere.  It’s more than a little alarming to see politicians calling for something that will turn Israel into a pariah state.

What does this  have to do with the age demgraphic issue around SS/health care?  Try to focus.

The first step of a  way of getting rid of people who will never contribute to SS or Medicare. It will progress into euthanasia as another mentioned of people of all ages will be eliminated and become common practice in the future so they do not waste tax dollars.   They will compare getting rid of granny or a disabled child as doing a good thing like putting down Spot the dog to put them out of their misery  and it will be advertised as a  compassionate and kind procedure

The govt is allowing the fentanyl deaths because it is getting rid of the useless eaters of society who will never  contribute to society but a deficit
Yeah yeah yeah some innocent people have died from fentanyl with spiked drinks or counterfeit meds but 9.9 out of 10 are basically losers. Not all

A local guy near me just od a few months ago. EMTs went to his house 9 times in the past to narcan him. No steady job, 3 kids out of wedlock, 9 criminal convictions for theft, shoplifting  on and on . Good riddance . I know of at least ,2 local business owners celebrated his death after he stole thousands of dollars of tools and supplies from them.

The small percentage innocent folks are acceptable collateral damage the govt is willing to accept

I live in a high  meth / fentanyl area and nearly all the od deaths are people who do not have their act together . I read the Facebook post after a local person died. "No great loss" "About time" type of comments is common.  People are sick of these people. Most steal, rob or sell drugs to support their habit

Is there a secret govt program pushing this to get rid of people?  No, but it the people were contributing members of society the drugs would stop

Along the lines if a beautiful white girl is kidnapped the nations stops and on the news 24/7. A ugly black or poor white kidnapped girl from the ghetto? Crickets

What does this  have to do with the age demgraphic issue around SS/health care?  Try to focus.

Russian general arrested on corruption charges

Yuri Kuznetsov becomes second ally of Sergei Shoigu detained in suspected purge in Putin reshuffle

Roland Oliphant  •  14 May 2024  •  11:00am

The Russian defence ministry’s human resources chief has been arrested and accused of bribery in an apparent purge on allies of former minister Sergei Shoigu.

Lt Gen Yuri Kuznetsov was charged with accepting a particularly large bribe late on Monday evening, Russian Telegram channels reported.

It came hours after Vladimir Putin dismissed Mr Shoigu as minister of defence, in his most significant reshuffle since the full scale invasion of Ukraine began.

Three weeks earlier, Timur Ivanov, one of Mr Shoigu’s deputies, was arrested and charged with the same crime.  .  .  .
