Trump also says Khan's father "has no right to stand in front of millions of people and claim I have never read the Constitution."

Khan asked if Trump had read the Constitution.  He did not say Trump had never read the Constitution.

I wonder if reporters will ask Trump about the 11th and 12th articles of the Constitution at his next press conference.

Move on Trump..just move on..

That's one of the things they trumpers love.  He can never move on.  Even if he wanted to move on, which he doesn't, he cannot let go of the slightest insult.

It appears that Mr. Trump has never learned the first rule of holes....

The statement above is a standard press release one would see from any campaign........with one exception.  You can tell Trump himself inserted the sentence in blue, since it has a misplaced comma and refers to himself.

And Khan makes an additional statement:

Anybody reckon donnie is every going to learn to engage brain before operating mouth?

No? Didn't think so either. He is truly his own worst enemy.

Who knew......that there was an even thinner-skinned wannabe dictator, other than Barry, aiming for the WH.

"If I become President, I will make America safe again." - Donald Trump

No Donnie, people like Captain Khan will keep us safe, just as they have always done, and parents will lose their children in the battlefield so that politicians can sit in the safety of their offices and brag about how you "made us safe again"..

To a Trump outrage, the GOP response is always the same: Lie back and think of Hillary. Lie back and think of the Supreme Court. Not enough

What a professional shitbag Donny is. Some low level Alderman would know how to spin out of this but he is so obtuse and so degenerate that he thinks this will play with voters. This whole election is a shitshow so large that I have a hard time wrapping my mind around it.

The country is finished and the only ones who haven't figured out yet are the poor souls who genuflect to the rotten corps of this dirty bastard.

Oh, that highlighted line has to be the most awful thing I've ever seen anyone say about another person.  Boy, that's really mean.

"While I feel deeply for the loss of his son, Mr. Khan who has never met me has no right to stand in front of millions of people and claim I have never read the Constitution,  (which is false) and say many other inaccurate things".

When Obama said the Cambridge Police "acted stupidly", that is nothing compared to such a foul mouth mean-spirited rant by Trump.

Mrs. Kahn said she did not speak because she wouldn't be able to maintain her composure and that is completely understandable.  Neither could I in her case.   Trump for saying what he did about her is a disgusting A-hole.

The trouble is, it plays well with the members of his cult of personality, and Trump is essentially operating in an echo chamber where all he hears is the chorus from his small core of Trump-or-Die supporters.

Of America's greatest presidents there wasn't a fist pounding moron in the bunch and even the most aggressive blowhards understood the need for measured diplomatic speech and actions.

Washington, Coolidge, and Reagan all understood that there was no point in needlessly agitating an adversary.

Of course it helped.

I went from disliking Trump to "wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire."

Preach it on Trump; er, in this editorialized article, "doesn't help", er, the original poster might bear in mind, I have not seen Trump use a word like "Muzzie" which would be seen as a pejorative in many quarters.

Personally I think Trump would be wiser to say he hasn't studied the constitution. Claiming he has just makes it sound like he doesn't like the constitution much.

Exactly.  Ask him what's in Article 12.

Yep, and claiming that someone "didn't have a right" to question him pretty much confirms it.

Exactly.  Ask him what's in Article 12.

That's the Article that states, "All Property found within the territory of these United States belong to HonestJohn."

...

As Trump so often says... "Believe me!"
